Ok, first things first, need to clear the air...

Michelle is the most ugly, self obssessed, manipulative, disturbingly warped person I've ever known of...actually maybe not as manipulative as some I've known but that'd be telling names /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

Honestly, shes like a lion playing with and torturing some small animal before she tears it apart. Uggh I may even stop watching BB as the whole Michelle-Stu thing is just too disgusting to watch.

Phew, said my peace.

Anyways, FT Akira:

ABC, DLC and SPoD are still present and correct, as is 2/3DLC > BT move.

Seems to have a new short range elbow and looks slightly different.

"Old style" knee looks bizarre now as I'm so use to the floor scrap-able evo knee.

stpm actually looks counterable now too, juts from watching animation.

dbpm looks very counterable too as Akiras arms are held out in front of him long after the dbpm has come out which obviously takes up quite a few frames for recovery.

Yoho seems same as in evo.

DE is still looking good.

SDE knocksdown on MC now, no stomach crumble.

New (?) standing kick that looks like hes trying to be a ballerina.

+(hit) looks a bit weird. Kind like evades high moves and looks a bit like evade > ++ and the goes into some sort of downwards elbow type move.

+ looks truly bizarre too, think this only float on counter.

I've seen ST > sgpm struggled quite a bit too...could be easier to get out of.

RBC seems to still guarantee .

+ still guarantees light down attack.

+ animation is different.

+: part (headbutt) can be charged.

Akira can now seemingly get hair like Kages Samurai one from evo and a new "shaggy" look as well.

Ahh cool.

I saw it in the clip vs Lion and the counter was yellow and Lion fell back as he would on an MC hit of DE in evo. That sounds like some decent news I guess.

Oh he also still has sgpm-DE whch is good news, hope the stats haven't been raped.

Oh and another thing, the whole mechanics of stepping/motion seem exactly the same as in evo, as Minami Akira was moving like a bitch on heat in most clips I saw of him.

Directions for Mye

Great speaking to you last night, I'm going straight home after work, I'm not going to the Gym! Consider it a honor! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif LOL Only joking!

Here's how to get to mine. (I'm assuming your walking!)
1.From the Cuzon Circle, walk down Cornhill Road, but stay on it till the end (don't turn off down another other road, stay on till you walk past a primary school).

2. Turn left at the end (NOT towards the nags head circle) and KEEP WALKING. You'll know your in the right direction when you pass a church on your left. You'll eventually have davyhulme golf course on your left (It's a bit of a walk)

3. By this time I'll be walking in the direction your walking and will meet you enroute.

(I do realise their is a quicker way, but I don't want you to get lost!)

Neway, I'll be home for about 6.15-6.30, but you said you'll be home for 7ish? Ring me before you set off and I'll start walking. Don't forget your stick! I'll have my mobile switched on from 5.

I'll probably be using Lau, Jacky, Wolf, Goh, maybe blow the dust off Kage/Sarah/Akira, but we'll have to see!

Mye, who would you saw your main 2 or 3 chars are? You have a Wolf file set up now but if you want and Aoi and Brad one then you can have them too as we have some spare files.

Can't wait for tonight! Throw Escapes at the ready! I'll try and figure out his best character's (or at least the ones I get battered by the most! /versus/images/graemlins/ooo.gif)

I think he uses Lau as well, but I've got a feeling it'll be brad or aoi as his second character, but as you said Chris their should be space on your memory card. Christ, you must feel like Memory Card man, is there a character that noone uses? Just wondering!

These are are 1 space only btw which is why I was asking Mye if he wants an Aoi and Brad file too.

Lau is EVIL

Yeah, Lau really has grown on me over the past fortnight. He has really simple high damage juggles/flowcharts/throw's and is designed (in my eyes) to take large chunks of energy in one go. His defensive game is weak, but that's the price you pay. He's a refreshing alternative to the more defensive character's and is certainly a fabled high risk-high reward character.

I'll write down the win loss record of our fight's tonight. (However bad for me! /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif)

 

Oh MYE God!

Great playing you last night Mye, you really are a very technically sound player, with fuzzy guarding, backstagger combo's, foot stance specific combos, really fast stagger recovery, recognizing throw/hit counterable moves, a very very good all round player.

You showed great skill with all the character's you used (Brad, Aoi, Lau and Wolf! Your Wolf was a bad man! /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif). Can't wait to play your Lei when you've practised with him. Hopefully you can come round on Sunday?

Oh and Chris, you'll be pleased to hear Mye said he has 98% of the Dog Tags in MGS2 and has completed it on Extreme 4 times! He's also clocked SH2 (I think) on hard as well! RESPECT! /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Chris, what's with the change of picture? The tides they are a turning.

I was never any good at MGS to be honest, but Silent Hill 2 is REALLY hard on HARD diffictulty (well when I'm stuck in the fucking corridor and can't escape!) but I did manage to clock the first one on hard, so it ain't all bad!

yeah, i have 100% of the dog tags, but i cannot stop playing it, the game seriously rocks.
here is a little challenge for you (if you haven't already done it.).
on 'extreme' mode, when you are on the 'Shell 1 - Shell 2 connecting bridge', and you have to shoot out the control panels, try and do it without using the PSG1 at all. ( I have done all of them except for the one on the Cypher, everytime i take a shot, i always blow the damn thing up!)
i find it very satisfactory to shoot them all out, when Snake and the Colonel are telling me to use the sniper rifle.
"sniper rifles are for girl scouts".


btw, have you completed the game with a "0 kills" rating, i find this to be somewhat troublesome, as beating Vamp in the water pool thing is much more time consuming.
(also, the two parts where you are fighting along side Snake are quite hard, as you can only use three weapons (Sword, PSG1-T and M9-T), and none of these weapons are automatic. i prefer to use the sword, as it means that you can save your health)

another neat trick in the first area where you are fighting everyone with Snake (the long corridor, not the circular room), is to equip the Sword and stand infront of Snake and just hold guard. everyone will then shot at you, but you can just deflect all the shots. this leaves Snake totally free to waste them all. i haven't figured out any easy way of winning once you reach the end, coz the bad guys come from all directions.

Yeah when it comes to VF, the Japanese/Korean players are certainly fucking cool! So much good media round here it's hard to know where to start but it looks like you've found some good stuff already.

Check out 8 if you can, he's a top Wolf player.

Yeah, I don't think I've got the 0 kills thing...my best is about 2/3 I think can't recall. Haven't played the game for about a year but when I was into BOY did I play it a lot.

There's all sorts of little challenge type things to do in MGS2...think I've done most of the silly ones (and skillful ones) but then again I'm sure some sicko somewhere could come up with a new stupid challenge or two.

Well, late last nigth I decided to change my avatar to one of the FT Akira pics since he looks ownsome in them. Problem was, they were too big so instead I juts changed it to what you see now and hopefully, in the near future I'll change it to FT Akira.

I'll sort out that Lau stuff now.

Jeff looks damn good but I think Akira and Sarah look uber sick.

Akiras + charged thingy almost looks like like at the end.

Looks like you can start SPoD from BT position (you can't in evo) as I've seen a few go for it after 2/3 DLC evade to BT.

Oh yeah Lion loks really good too...unless I've juts been watching the saem good Lion player in all different clips /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Ade, juts to throw some gasoline on the fire, how good would you say Mye is compared to Shaun and Andy? Also what stick does he use?

 

Mye better than Shaun and Andy?

When it comes to the game basic, Mye definetley has the edge. But when it comes to pitbulling and sheer attack brute force, I would say S/A are better. You have to remember the fight's vs Mye last night were his first in AGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEESS, so he'll no doubt improve. It'd be great to see Shaun play Mye, cos Mye is twice his age! Gotta go!
