I'm pretty sure Andy's gonna use Kage and PROBABLY Ryan. Remember Delune DIDN'T use Lion back in February, I've got a feeling he's gonna skull fuck us with Akira or Jacky just for fun! /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

To me Kage has fewer 'bad matchups' than Sarah (due to her light weight and attacking nature) and Kage is a 'safer bet'. TBH I'm still not too who to use, one day it's Sarah, the next Kage, I LOVE using both equally, it really is a head fuck. To make it worse, I'be grown fond of Lau, mainly due to playing Mye's every weekend, he really does have great Lau skill's, but even he prefer's his Wolf to his Lau, so thank God I'm not the only one with 'which character to use' blues! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well looks like Andy'll be using Kage and pinking has said he'll be using Akira, as will I.

So there'll be at least ninja present.

Ok I'll put you down as Jacky.

I'm actually this minute typing up all the groups and stuff in word. Akairyu_Medion (group B) uses Lei and Kingsouther (B as well) will be using Vanessa. For the time being that's all the players I know of for sure.

Played ryan at troc yesterday, even though he didn't win evo he has come back so strong, you have to see it to beleive it, being brucked by his kage is truley an experience.

Lm-Akira, do you need an extra tv/ps2, if so tell me and I may be able to bring my brother's.

Setups

Hey Mike,
if you can bring an extra tv and ps2 then please do. We have 3 atm (mine, Steevs and Wills Jap one) but if we had 4 it'd be uber as it would mean we could have all 4 groups playing simultaneously and then have 3 VF setups later and one for Hyper SF.

well, I've got my own car so it shouldn't be a problem getting the tv BUT.. I don't think I will be arriving until the day of the tournament, maybe this is a problem?

Yeah Jacky is well cheap, I mean a floater that ducks mids and gives 80+ damage with a simple follow-up......oh wait.....

And that 12 frame mid, and 14 frame safe on guard but 60+ dmg on MC wtf????.....hang on.........

It's good that to maximise his combo potential you don't have to be able to watch stance either.........unless you use +.....+,..........hmm......

Well at least he has one of the best throw games, to supliment his awesome strikes. Especially that one that gives him a free 80+ combo or awesome ring out potential..........

Damn Jacky is just wrong!

edit - oh I forgot to mention his great guaranteed damage option for up to -13, go Jacky!

Ah Jacky ok. It'll be cool to watch you and Shaun play.

As for arriving on the day, nah it shouldn't be a problem. Steev's coming up the night before and so we'll have 2 set ups done by the early morning on the saturday. Will (the guy with the 3rd set up) will probably come the day of the tourney as well and we won't be kicking off till around 12.30.

If you need any directions or anything juts ask. The postcode to my place is M14 5RJ.

It's just round the corner from Rusholme and the curry mile.

Characters

Even though I've only heard from a handful of people, it's funny that we already have 2 Jackys, 2 Akiras and a Kage already.

Top tier chars (IMHO) always seem to float to the top at tourneys.
