Haha yeah.

I'll do a couple to advertise the tourney, see if anyone would like to play (which I doubt as there was only around 2/3 guys I knew of last year who were into games) and I'll stick up two on the tourney room doors so as people know what's going on and don't try and get involved themselves.

yeah, he said that he managed to excellent Ryan Hart in the first round! (then followed a tremendous beatdown.)
he said that Ryan got a 100 wins streak with jacky, so i think if anyone has any ideas about winning in manchester, then they should just stay at home.
it really is a battle for 2nd place!

HAHA! I don't want a flame war TBH, I wanna have a first to ten (if there's time in the morning) with Double Jacky's. at the meet, although we would have to do it before most of the people arrive otherwise we could do a first to 5 instead? (Cos of the time factor).

Actually, I think I'll be using Sarah! Although I'll use Kage/Jacky/Lau in the warmups. It will defo be one of them, no surprise crap this time! (I've learnt my lesson the hard way!). BTW My Lau has improved drastically, mainly due to me playing a top Lau every week! Chamone!

i have been messing around with him and he is sick. if you have been playing him then use him, he is a killer against Jacky, as he can rival him for speed, but he is more powerful and has a better throw game!

I think the groups are finally, finally sorted pretty much now, I'm just crossing my fingers that everyone gets to the gathering in good time to have a quick warm up and then get stuck in.

Oh yeah, I'll have you a first to 5 Akira mirror match too, no money on it, just for a laugh mind (gonna be skint this year, I'm getting £500 less on my student loan!!!).

 

Lau V Jacky

Actually I think Jacky is more than capable of handling Lau (not just due to his punch parry though), but I agree Lau's throw game is defo above Jacky's.

Lau does have some really good abusable moves, but suffers in the defense department, although he should, otherwise he would be TOO much, LOL. Wait till you see Mye's Lau, then you'll see how good he can be used. Actually my Lau isn't too shabby either.

Office specials tonight!!!

Hey Ade, just got my timetabel for uni...

Good thing is I'm totally free all friday on the 24th but I have a quick meeting to go to on thursday the 23rd, so I was thinking can you meet me near the Spar again...like all those months ago! You know, near the blackwells shop under the precinct.

atm I'm not too sure what time it would be but at least I'm guaranteed all thursday afternoon and friday free!!!

Jacky/Sarah discussion

Just wondering how your Jacky is coming along, still rinsing the shit outta him? I don't blame TBH, you seem to have come a long way with him, and within one year!

Are you still learning recognizing foot stance and doing the correct combo's?

If I'm being totally honest, I think I am much better with Sarah than Jacky, mainly due to me knowing Sarah's frame data much more indepth than I have studied Jacky. The irony is I can recognize and remember foot stance specific combo's MUCH easier than with Sarah. At the end of the day I wish I could combine Sarah and Jacky (obviously this isn't gonna happen!) but love Sarah's 11 frame jab (10 in flamingo!) ,her great throw 'game' and her flamingo stance . I also love Jacky's height mix up moves, not to mention his + and + half/full circular moves, plus his weight which is heavier than most (irony that being fat is a good thing for once! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

I still, at least I have at least half-way decent knowledge of the Bryant's, which, I suppose, is better than nothing at all.
