Read no more my friend's go to www.stuckgamer.com and WATCH SH3, MGS2 be completed. SH4 is 50% complete as well. This is a Godsend and a seriously fun way to waste time IMO. Genius idea!

my Jacky is slowly progressing, althoough at the moment i am actually playing WORSE than usual. this is because i am trying to learn foot stance, and so i find myself continuously spamming for moves that require stance specific combos, and get whooped mostly.
i still find it hard to put into use against Andy, as playing against him is much faster and harder than the AI.

Foot stance is kinda like most things in VF in that, you'll train and train at it and constatntly mess up or whatever and then one day it'll juts click and come togther for you.

Bit of a tangent, just finished Onimusha3 (on normal too, was easier than the previous games). Really worth playing, obscene amount of extras (including THE PANDA COSTUME)! Loads of weapons, fantastic graphics, really loved it - though I am a bit retarded and don't replay games so I will miss out a bit. 12 hours long. Bit shorter if you are good /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

did it vs Brad and got it saved...no idea when or if I'll ever get to show you it.

Started taking Hyper more seriously now and ordered GGX2 and capcom vs SNK2 from gamestation, should be at my home soon (back in lpool that is).

Cool, you finally nailed that Akira combo, I remember you 'discovering' it on the Thursday before 'doomsday'.

I've been caning a load of tag recently (I'm playing Tekken again cos we've got 5 on Test at TC). Trying to learn some stuff for the new character Raven (he's the new Kage, you mark my word's!). Although I'll inevitably slip into Julia mode at some stage and skank with Lee probably as well.

Better break open the piggy bank though, cos of the steep 1 quid a throw ( /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif) price tag. I guess 5's a good game, but the damage level is WAAAAAAAAAY too high IMHO, I hope the final version is modified correctly. Still, it's better than crappy 4, I pray for the day the staff at the namco station get in Evo or Final Tuned, but better not hold my breath.

 

For the record

The guys who can still get into my place are Will, Dan, Ramsey, Steev and possibly Mye. That pretty much rules out any more meets in my room ever again for us north guys. It's a shit hole anyway, I'm thinking of a way to maybe get out of my contract and fuck off out of the place asap. Everyone else was seen on cctv and she made the claim if any of them returned I'd be in shit.

Hmmm may trade some old games in for Burnout 3, looks well sexy. May even be able to tempt that Asian girl from Friday night into my room for a few good sessions.....on Burnout 3 of course you all understand!!! /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Are you staying in a concentration camp or something? Sounds exceedingly shit.

In case you’re unaware you can leave a contract for a rental agreement at any time you like. The only potential problem is they can hold your deposit and subtract rent from it while the flat is unoccupied, but that’s all they can do.

Best solution is to withhold a months rent (effectively keeping your deposit) and get out. Legally there’s nothing they can do. At least that’s Scots law, but I think it’s similar down south for tenant/landlord disputes.

Don’t take any shit from aggressive landlords. Exert your rights and leave when it suits you. I have a bit too much experience dealing with these creatures (landlords), both as a student and in work.

Cheers Stephen, I'm at a loss as to why they kicked up so much of a fuss about anything...I guess my actual room and facilities are ok-ish it's just the attitude of the staff (all 2 of them) and the way things are...I mean ideally this is supposed to be a student accomodation and yet there's some 40 odd year old guy living just opposite me and another apparantly moving in. I don't wanna have to live with some freaky older guys who wanna live with students, know what I mean?

It's notouriously difficult to get out off as well (yeah I'd lose my £238 deposit) as loads of students come, realise it's crap and try and get out...I'm down for an 8 month contract atm...hmmm I'll maybe look into things.

I mean I've never broken one rule whilst being here and the bloody caretaker was talking about evicting me because I was using the communal tv room with some guests, with his permission to (having done so before)!!

It seem's the people who are running your place suck a big 'proverbial' dick IMHO. I'll be honest, I've never been a student living in rented accomodation, but it seem's obvious that the caretaker/manager are taking thing's a little bit too far.

It just seem's a little bit stupid that you've held a tournie before in the SAME ROOM (back in February) and everything was fine then and this time they kick up a fuss AND take thing's even further by not allowing the majority of us back. It's a fucking shame that I won't be allowed back in anymore, I was looking forward to popping round for some VF after work on Friday's (I work ten minutes from where LM lives) and it has EFFECTIVELY killed VF in Manchester (well, almost, the option of LM coming to mine is open, but certainly not as convenient). OK, I can still play Mye (who luckily lives round the corner) but it's not like there is a million and one people playing VF in Manchester and it would be much better if dickhead's didn't piss on our proverbial parade.

OK, we'll still be able to play VF, but am I the only one who find's it bitterly ironic that the some halfwit's have unknowingly ruined northern player's chances of maximising our standard of play. God, we'll NEVER catch up to the London standard and now our job is gonna be EVEN HARDER.

Jeez, you have to be dedicated to be a VF player in the North. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif
