Bout time you got one son, who do you reckon you'll use in Tag? I'm going for Julia and Other to start with, wonder if I'm right.

I can't imagine SF on turbo speed at 6-hz, our head's might explode. LOL.

Well I did use Yoshimitsu, Jin, Lei Wulong, Oges in T3 and when I had TTT and was playing at 50hz I was using Bryan, Ogres, Jin and Heihachi, Devil and Angel, Yoshimitsu...hmmmm have to wait and see.

I think you should start with Ogres or Chang's, who have relatvely easy setup's/skank's to abuse. Let me know and I can PM you some stuff for who ever you want, although check out www.tekkenzaibatsu.com if you wanna check out for yourself.

Yeah I used Julia in T4 for a bit and I like her style (it is Akira's style after all!) so I think I'd be using her but not too sure about others yet have to see. Oh and I check out T zaibatsu as well too, no worries about the link.

To Steve, I personally found the early mission's easier than Vice City, but no 'the've stepped up their game' so to speak. Later, There is a 'madchester' character voiced by Shaun Ryder! /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif 'Your twisting my melon man!' Pointless bonus tip: Rowetta off X Factor was the backing singer to Happy Monday's.

Hmm still haven't got my copy but it should be here in a matter of hours now, recorded delivery, proper bo.

Got another copy of pes4 and it refuses to work on my ps2 as well /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif damnation.

Your gonna go sick for the new GTA Chris, it's too much! Wait till you do some burgarly mission's, proper bo! I've started my quest to buy everything in the game (all the clothes!) for 'completion' sake. I wanna do some taxi mission's too, to get a bit of cash. I like the way you can put marker's on the map too, I personally like putting them where Body Armour is on the map, essential for certain mission's IMHO.

Getting properly back into tag, Chang's are too much! Been testing some (mainly against the darn Misimas) for safety when at the arcade (then I know what I can throw out and what not to throw out).

Well just got my copy of Tag (traded in one of my 2 copies of pro evo 4 for £23 which isn't too bad) but now I need to wait a little longer for my accelerator.

Ironically I just got GTA in the post too...thing is I need to get an essay done on the ethics of GM foods by tomorrow so I'll be in the dept all day long!!! Ahhh no way! I'll be waiting to play GTA all day!!! /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

 

TAG Julia Stuff

Good thing's come to those who wait trust me! You'll probably find the game TOO big at first, but you'll soon get you'd to it's size. Slim's tip :use your Circle marker when you find a body armour. It will make the mission's a LOT easier. I won't say anymore about the game, I don't wanna ruin the genius that is GTA.

Julia Combo's

I know you've not got the accelator yet, but here's a few Julia Bread & Butter's you have to have down. (BTW You have to do Julia's elbow ffN+1)

1,2,1 (CH) or DF+2,1 or 4 (CH)

ff+1, ff+1, ff+1, B to DF+1,2
This is your basic juggle which you should have down to a t.

ff+1, ff+1, ff+1, ff+1,4
If you can't do the above combo

UF+4, d+2, FC, df+4,3 df+4,2, b+f+1
The infamous wonder juggle. Delay the last hit.

Tips

Use the QCB, f+2 throw a LOT. Her best throw and bufferable after backdash.

Print out her frame data from Zaibatsu. Her Elbow is ONLY -2 on block!

ABUSE Elbow Mix-ups. Examples:
ff+1then:
ff+1 If they keep blocking
1,1,1_1,2,1 Will CH if a 10 frame jabber hit's back (I.E A mishima)
DF+2,1 If they crouch
d+1 Into FC Flowcharts
D+4,4_1 Risky but useful
QCB f+2 If they stand and guard

You can tag off the last hit of 1,1,1.

A UF+4 is guaranteed when you low parry a kick if in range(Not a punch!). You can also do df+2,1 but I don't think it's guaranteed, although I have done it against people in the arcade.

You can low parry by tapping df or d+1+3_d2+4 with Julia.

Practise bb-QCB repeat for a safeback dash

SSR-3+4 is useful for a double sidestep.

Ogre d,db+4(-5 to Julia) ffN+1+2 is guaranteed!

The wonder juggle is guaranteed on 2p after tagging from a EWGF (I think a normal godfist as well, not too sure?)

I'll think of more stuff later.

LOL Ade, you do realise you're talking to me and Steev about GTA here...we're the GTA grandmasters no word of a lie chamone.

Thing was I traded in stuff for a copy and it would hardly work so I traded in more stuff for a new copy and that had the exact same problem...it's not the disc it's the ps2. Plus I was outside of the 2 days return thing by ages. I still have a copy now and I played it once, might work again some day...

 

GTA

So you've 100% the first two GTA3's? I have a mate who has, it took him month's and month's. I'm gonna start the Oyster collection tonight (You can collect them from the sea and 'underwater' section's).

I also better top up my Muscle ometer tonight, I'm losing my buffness.

I have 100% on the first one, minus one package. Didn't get as close on the second. FFXI is distracting me more than the third.

Let's just say Steev actually took a week off from uni to play the first one when it came out and we were in competition to get the highest % complete for around 4 months or so, Vice City was the same tho neither of us got the elusive 100%.

I have to say, hats off to rockstar, they've done it again. Intro is superb, things are looking nicer and judging by the map it certainly looks bigger than VC.

Hope everyone watched one of the best films ever made, Memento last night.
