Is it definately this coming weekend, or is that just when Mike is coming up?
Solved the problem on the laptop, apparently, if you leave the mouse over some text then it places the cursor there..........

Mike told me he's coming down this week, so I would ASSUME it'd be this weekend (it's his birthday). Think he'll be going back Sunday.

Cant you two find a resident evil forum! Just kidding /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif I can come up this weekend but not the following one, have texted Chris to see if thats possible.Im a bit rusty with Lion, have been using Akira as he seems a bit easier to skank the computer and seeing as thats all I play against it can be a bit of fun. Does noone here play PC games? Resurrection of evil is pretty sweet. I thought my computer was pretty good but my boss has just got a dual 3.6 ghz pentium 4 with 2gb of ram and 3 flat panel monitors etc. Cost him a small fortune but I get to work on it so Im not complaining. aaaaanyway... would be good to meet up with some real life human virtua fighter players for a change.

Sever lack of VF at the moment, I'll text Mye TONIGHT, she if he wants any VF this weekend, although I doubt he would be free Saturday, Sunday would be better, oh no, the vicious circle has reared it's ugly head again!

Chris, killed Krauser last night, how do you beat him? Tried for ages to use shotguns, magnums etc, didn't work, so I switched to the high level strat of aiming down and knife slashing over and over, killed him in about 30 seconds. GAMES TESTERS, YOU FAILED! LOL.

Still using Kage as my main, although still Sarah, Jacky and Lau as well.

Looks like we are all pretty rusty then. Dan, maybe you should use Akira, he is the best character, and if you have been playing with him more recently, then you should probably do better with him. You will most likely be the best player at the meeting this time, coz my stick skills are not up to much at the moment, I keep making basic command errors, whereas you seem to be able to use your stick perfectly fine. Obviously Andy can't come as he is in America, so it should be an easy win for you. Plus, if you do pick Akira, then you can beat Mike with his own character and then laugh at him, there is nothing more satisfying than that. I really look forward to playing a decent human opponent, coz the computer is boring and predictable. Chris, I will see if Kain wants to come along as well, I presume it will be ok as he managed to perform well enough last time.

Mike's been rinsing VF a lot in London, so watch out for his Akira this time.

I want some Jacky/Jacky matches with you as well if possible. It'll be weird to see 2 RAP's in the same room! LOL.

Ade, I know that you work in an office for a company. Thing is, I'm a sales rep now, I sell marketing and Advertising via online business directories. I've only been working here three days, and they want me to get a sale, regardless of the cost, so at the moment I'm allowed to sell for much lower than I'm supposed to. Are you in a position where you can purchase thinngs like this in the name of the comany, or can you put in a good word for me with the person who is, coz I really want to get a sale. If you work for a huge company, then it doesn't matter, but if you work for z smaller business then it would be perfect.

It's only a small company that I work for, ironically one of them is for marketing! (Their are two 'sister' companies).

Damn right it feels pretty pointless, you cant exactly outsmart their thinking cos the computer doesnt 'think' at all. I dont think Im good enough with Akira to say hes my best character but this meeting I can honestly say I dont give a monkeys who wins so I will just play with whoever feels ok on the day. What stick you got Shaun, and how long you had it? Whats your bro doing in America exactly?

If you treat quest mode as if it is a human (ignoring stupid things like the fact it ALWAYS rising kicks if you're close enough) then it can be pretty decent for practice purposes. Obviously not as good as a human but it still does kinda "think" as it has to choose how it's going to defend etc etc. Also it's defence is alot better than most humans you'll ever play since it can escape throws, evade in the right direction etc at will. Which is a bit like playing someone who's just really good at the game.

It's more useful than most people give it credit for I think.


I'm visiting my wife's parents out here Dan, and seeing about moving out here for a while.

I miss the VF scene over there though. Still can't use my ps2 yet. Anyone know where I can find a voltage adaptor so I can use my english ps2 over here? All I can find is converters for US ps2s for england.

Ok to everyone listening/reading:

Looks like we'll go ahead with the meet THIS Sat then if it's ok with peeps. Make it to meet at 10-10.30 outsdie the usual place.

Dan if you need to come up on the fri give me a call/text to let me know when your train comes in.

Ade do you still wanna pop round this fri night for some practice? Nice one on doing pro, I got 52,000 on the castle with Hunk! He's by far the best player to use at first. Got 43,000 on 3rd map and 36,000 on Village with him. Need to get over 60,000 with everyone on every map tho!

Oh and Doom 3 is ace, awesome graphics on the xbox, feels very much like half life and Total recall combined atm.

Can everyone make this meet then?

BTW You get 10000g for selling a yellow/green/red mixed herb if you need the money.

Save hand grenades for the final boss on Pro, don't do what I did and use them up on the last few baddies and make the final boss ten times harder than it should be LOL.

Better get some Anti- Jacky, Akira and Lion strats practised!

I know what you mean, I won't get home till 8.30, then I'll be really tired, probably just watch TV.
