    LOL

Just had to post in the thread to ensure the magical birthday symbol gets used here again.

Shaun, I would make meets elsewhere when not busy with work, only thing is atm I'm totally snowed under with work so meets for at least the next 3 weeks or so are out, probably for even longer after that.

I think Steev was going to teach Computer Science or something like that, not sure.

Hmmm, I'm off to the shops now, gotta stock up on beverages for tonights mini P A R T Y at my place. I would have invited everyone here obviously but seen as though no one really lives close to mine, it'd be a bit of a mission to travel all the way just for a little 3 hour get together or something. Plus I'm back in uni 9-5 tomoro! I'm saving most of my insane drinking for the weekend.

Oh, just got an xbox ps2 converter in the post, well top, I can play 3rd strike and other xbox fighters using my hori! Can also play xbox pro evo with ps2 controller! Rock on!

Laterz everyone, I'm off to enjoy the sunshine!

    Cheers everyone.

Didn't do too much hard drinking as I've a random coursework to hand in today (besides a 9-5 day anyways).

LOL I'm going home the week after next to beginning filming for itv. Apparently we have a school reunion actually in my school and then it's 3 days of grafting on some big charity project. Wonder what it could be...

    Don't die!

Played VF last night, apparently I can now do DTEG 100% of the time, as well as watch stance........
I can usually EDTEG, but sometimes I end up whiffing the last throw. I am also finding getting [3] to be less of a problem, though sometimes I now press [3_] when I want to press[6_].......

    Re: RE1 Remake

Well, it's just Real Survivor mode, you can't select easy, normal or hard versions of it (if you could select a hard mode, it would undoubtedly be the hardest game in the world!).

tbh, if it's been a while since you've played it, I'd reccomend doing Hard at least once before attempting it...otherwise you may need to re-start your game as you get really stuck.

Things to know about are...don't do any un-neccasry things (eg walk the wrong way thru the "dog hall" to activate the dogs) and work out the best way around the mansion. Off the top of my head I can't recall it but I KNOW the way I did it I'd only ever need to use the broken door once (so it never got broken).

Be wary of which item boxes you use and especially wary of the zombies around them and any more possible zombies that will become active in the area.

If you've played the game enough you'll know the placement of the zombies but it's slightly altered for RS. Oh and the damage they inflict is sick, watch out! Conserve ammo and use defence items well is the best tip for fighting.

Above all, like Shaun said, don't die! LOL

Not played any VF since the meet, but then again only played games for around 1 hour since then anyway. God damn, wish I could just take a week off and play games, I'm sick to death of uni and I've still got 6 weeks of term to go!

    Re: RE1 Remake

Cheers, I'll check on Gamefaqs as well

I love the RE1 Remake, next in line as my favourite after RE2 and 4 (which sound's low down in the rankings, but it's not! LOL)

BTW The full stop on my keyboard doesn't work! So I can't end sentences like this But Never mind eh!

Was wondering, can you shoot them in the knees in the RE1 remake? If I remember rightly you they can't come back as crimson heads? Trying to peace things back in my head

On a side note, my mate has just done Resident Evil 2 for the time (the B scenario's!) and has 'fallen in love' with RE (that sound's a bit gay though! LOL) So he's gonna track down RE 3 and Code Veronia and is even considering buying a GC for the Remakes! /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

    Try earning a living!
Seriously, student life is so much better than having a job. I really can't express how boring and mundane life feels being in a 9-5 office job........
P.s. You are more than welcome to take a week off and play computer games. You could come and stay here, we could play VF all day. (though I would get fired and you would fail your course)....

    Re: RE1 Remake

Ummm I've never heard about shooting them in the knees so that they don't come back as crimson heads. Besides which you could end up wasting a bit of ammo trying that trick and end up in trouble.

Anyhow, on RS, IIRC, it's actually best not to try and kill that many zombies to ensure you conserve ammo for bosses etc and to totally ensure no crimson head trouble LOL.

There's no need for him to track down RE3 and RECVX if he's going to get a GC, RE2-RECVX have all been released on it as ports, coupled with RE0, RE and RE4 I think that's enough RE to last a newbie a life time! LOL

Yeah but how many students do you know how are doing my course? Only Me. There's only 6 others on it in Manchester. I'd wager only around 200 students are doing my course in the whole of UK. My course isn't anything like other joke courses you see students doing at uni and I'm in the dept 9-5 four days a week so essentially I'm a 9-5 worker too. When I'm not in uni, I'm at home working my ass off, not to mention living with a £17,000 debt hanging over me LOL.

I know the typical idea of a student is a lay-about who does nothing at all, wakes up in time for tea and seems to think the world owes them a living but I can guarantee that I'm as far away from that stereotype as possible.

Jeez, and I thought it was just Pot Noodle and Kelly Brook posters! LOL.

Shit, 17000 grand debt. That sound's bad.

At least your gonna be on TV!

Thank FUCK it's Friday. The Pub beckon's at 5!

    Re: RE1 Remake

Yeah, I know that life ain't great, (though I think that being surrounded by Kelly Brook would make studying more enjoyable), but the main thing about doing a course, regardless of how hard it is, is the fact that you are learning new things, so this will take the tedium out of most of the day.
Without a doubt I would say that what you do is more difficult, but the fact that it is difficult and mind stimulating will make it more interesting/less boring.
My day consists of ringing up saying the following:

"Hi my name is Shaun, I'm calling from Businesslinx, could I speak to the owner/manager please?"

    "No, fuck off!"

"Ok sir, thank you for your time, goodbye."

    Doesn't that sound great?????

P.s. I think that some of the guys in Scotland are interested in coming to my place sometime next month, so I was thinking that we would all get together. (obviously I would have to offer them the places to sleep, though there is enough space for about 5 people to sleep.).
