I do remember that fight actually, I was going to do the + sabaki when you attacked me but I bottled it and just went for good old . Didn't know we'd saved that one.

Will plays akira and goh apparantly. Also heard from Dan and he reckons he'll make it too...so thats 9.....lets see if everyone does turn up though. No idea how good either of them are actually as I've only really heard from them via email. btw do you want me to put your name on a shun file I recall you saying you were going to start using him a bit?

Ooh another Goh, should be interesting..

You might as well shove me down on a Shun file if nobody else is gonna use him. I'm not brilliant but it should be good for a laugh. I wont be using him in the tourny though.

I think I'm gonna test my Wolf out on more of you guys this time since I only used him on Shaun and Ramsey last time.

Seems like we're cursed to having an odd number of people but I'd rather that than nobody turn up.

Presumably everyones still on for this saturday.

Andy do you still have those phone numbers for taxis in the manchester area stored on your phone? I only ask as the yellow pages round my place has gone missing.

Haven't heard back from Dan in a while so ... looks like it'll be 8 of us if we all still make it. I'll come up with some seeded matches and if I get time I'll let peeps know here first about them.

Haven't got my phone on me at the mo but I'll check when I get home, I don't remember deleting them. If I did I'll just get a few numbers at the train station.

8 will be perfect for a tourny so nobody else better drop out /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif lol.

Just out of interest are both Kage files taken already? I've been using him a bit lately so if there's a spare one you might as well stick me down on it. if not I'll just use the default one.

Shaun's Jeffry is fearsome now, he owned me 7 - 0 the other day (Jeff V Goh) so be prepared to eat some TKODs /versus/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Anyways, looking forward to seeing how much people have improved. I'll keep checking back for any new developments.

P.S. What format are you going to use for the tourny, just a straight forward knockout? It might be better to do something that gives losers another chance since getting knocked out in the first round and having to sit and watch will be boring as hell.

Yeah hopefully the eight will last.

I was going to do the loser-winner bracket thing again. Basically seed the first fight then have winners vs winners and loser vs losers. The final would be the "overall" winner of winners against the "overall" winner of losers if you know what I mean. Should be quicker than the league we did last time I reckon plus everyone has a chance to win even if they lose in the first round. Again the "loser" in the final would have to beat the other player twice. The fights would be best 3 of 5 fights with a fight being best 3 of 5 rounds.

I've been using kage too actually I'm afraid so you'd have to use default kage ( Ade has the other as you'll know). Hmmm that jeff play sounds worrying. Bettre practice my TEs /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

Hiya guys, it looks like i wont be able to make this meeting as things have f****ed up again.I am in Exeter so would have to get the train at 4.30 in the morning to get there on time. I will say right now that I will be there for the next meeting WITHOUT FAIL. Any chance of that being before Christmas? Would be really cool if we could do that. And I will be able to capture our replays and post them on this site.

perv on??? What the fuck are you on??? You mean the guy that randomly has his cutains open with the telly facing the window and sometimes plays SC2??? Why don't YOU go round and ask him hes probably your type /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

I spoke to a guy who lives round my place though and he said if hes in and we do only have 7 peeps (thats including Will showing up) then he'd make up the numbers. He doesn't really play the game and would probably end up being used as a punch bag. Then again he almost beat me once (hes played as goh and kage) solely as he knows nothing about the game and his play is completely and utterly random and un predictable. Anyway if we're desperate for one more player and hes round he'll play.

If we DO have 8 players, match ups would be like....

A Chris Vs Darius
A Ade Vs Andy

B Shaun vs Will
B "random person" vs Steev

Winners of A matches would play one another as well as losers vs losers. Same for B. Then it'd be winner of A vs winner of B for a final place and same for losers bracket. The final would be "winner of A and B" vs "winner of losers bracket of A and B". No cash prize this time I'm afraid, just resect to be earned.

For the record I'll be using a combination of....Akira (obviously), Goh, Aoi, Pai, Kage and maybe a little Vanessa or Lei, we'll have to see how my dancing holds up.

Hehe yeah My Akira file is up to Champion now and decked out in nice gold colours. Got some nice items for Kage and Pai too. I got champion rank with Akira on my original fle in about a week and got like 3000 odd fights registered on it /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif(over a few months like!). Got my goh up to champion too on that file with about 1000 matches. Looking forward to playing aginst everyone again. /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif
