Chris, hope you can find some stuff to beat Ocelot, he is a git with those bouncing bullets.

Ade, I think my Nan is going to stay with relatives some time around July'August, so I am going to find out when that is and hold the meeting then. That way there will be more sleeping space and we will be able to play all night without worrying about waking her up. (imagine the sound of 10 sticks whirling around in the room next to the one you sleep in!).

Andy, is that adaptor ack that I sent any good? also, can you find out if there is any way (cheat code or otherwise) to make the A.I. in 'Duelists of the Roses' any better......

Yeah the adaptor is fine cheers. Unfortunatly my ps2 has decided it only wants to read MvC2 now (out of my only two 60hz games) so I'm going to have to take it apart again and mess with the laser.

Oh and no, the AI is permanently set to "suck". When I come back I'll whoop you into shape again though don't worry. (that goes for VF too /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

REGARDING THE MEETING!!!
The meeting WILL be on the 2nd of July. If anyone has a problem with this, tough, I can't be assed reorganising time after time. Ade, don't make any plans for that weekend. Chris learn your stuff quicker and get down here. Dan, tell your employers to fuck off, and that your coming to play VF!

P.s. Killed Ocelot quite easily, trashed The Pain as well. (don't know why you found him hard, just take your time and he never lands a hit on you.
Any tips for beating The End (I want to tranq him out so I can get his costume). I don't have a tranq sniper rifle, so no tips that need one of those.

 

Random mumblings

Cheers Steev. Have my first one this friday then 4 more spread over 2 weeks as well as a report on my thesis.

As for July 2, well, I'm leaving manchester on the 4th June and I graduate on 11th July or something so there's no uni commitments holding me back from making a meet then, though I'll have to see what money I have by then/work etc but I will try to keep it spare.

Oh and randomly, I may be staying in Manc for another 3 years...got an email off a lecturer as there is a spare theoretical physics PhD place going here so I may take it over the liverpool one, meeting with the guy this week.

Ok vs The End, capture his parrot (you'll find it sat somewhere in the forest) by tranqing it and then let it free...it'll fly back to The End and circle around him. Look out for where it is and sneak up behind him and hold him up with your Mk22 3 times to get his Moss uniform and wear it for the rest of the battle as it'll allow stamina to grow when you're in the sunlight and gives high camo index in Sokrovenno forest. Then just keep look out for the parrot and shoot the old man. After a while you'll need to re-capture the parrot and repear the trick to see him.

Or you could just save, turn of the game for 7 days or forward the ps2 clock, turn it back on and find him dead of old age!

If desparate you could cheat...go to the map and press:

square triangle

and his position will show up on the map.

Oh and not sure who you were directing it to but I had no worries with The Pain, Ade's just up to that point. I'm currently up to The Fury playing thru again, about to get his Fire camo thru stealth kill. Then on to Groznji Grad! (yes, it's prob spelled wrong /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

Top day at the TC on Sat, Umer's Ling was on fire, although I managed to get a good few wins against him (even though with skanks!)....

Ah ok, will check it out.

Was thinking that in T5 my mains are now really Feng, Kazuya and Julia (maybe a little bit of Devil Jin too). I just love watching Mike the way he plays Kaz, all out raw agression.

Will try and get to TC for a final bit of T5 until PAL vers comes out.

LOL my wave dashing is coming on a little bit on the p2 side but I still totally suck from the p1 side, need more practice!
