The Manchester scene continues...

Well, 30 mins away from my 2nd exam, just posting to let peep know I'm actually staying in Manc...a spare PhD place came up last week as a guy left it to pursue a job or something so I sacked off the lppol place and will be in manc for the next 3 years a least...in my own flat, making meets far more enjoyable since we won't be packed into one tiny room and wont have trouble with extra set ups etc...

The topic of it is...Nuclear Quantum Many-Body Physics and it's essentially research grant funded (so I have to get some good results) but I think I'd prefer it over the course I could have done at Lpool.

Either way, in 3 years time I'll be called Dr. Snape! LOL

Post back in a bit, need to go to exam now!

Kain, if you think Star Wars 'sucks', then why did you go and see it in the cinema?
I, along with everyone else, thought the film whooped more ass than Stone Cold Steve Austin, though I still like the fight scene with Obi-Wan Vs Darth Maul the most!
Andy, I agree that Darth Vader chumped himself at the end. The moment he got into the suit, he started moving like a robot. I think Dark Helmet would have made a more menacing figure............

btw no suprises really but Ryan just won the T5 National down in london over the weekend. Ade, Rob and Mike were all in it too (all manc/north players). I'll post a link to the results in a min...

Rob (one of the regular players up here) did really well, he beat Ben Mishima and also beat Ryan's Kazuya in some of the casulas the day before. Plus he's a pad player! But he's a really a Bryan user which is why he's so consitently good at mashing up peeps.

Mike did well and Ade made some progress so it was a decent show from the north crew.

Think Ade meet up with some of the VF peeps from here too, no doubt he'll post about it soon.

Sup Guys, top time in London, did best with Jacky , awful sticks though, and Feng is a fucking beast in Tekken 5!

Yeah, the way they 'thoroughly' missed their penalties sure showed us all that they deserved it.
I mean, how can a team justify walking away with the best title a football club can win by coming back from 3-0 at half time!

penalties are a real test of skill aren't they? A.C walked out to the second half with the game all ready won they just lost concentration and let 3 goals in. After that Liverpool were always on the back foot having to defend and were being outplayed.

Hey guys. Only 2 more weeks of uni left then I can start earning some proper money. I expect Chris will disagree but in my experience, uni is a big bag of shite. Anyway, have been getting pretty good with Akira the past couple of months, then I go and have one go with Lion and it all comes back to me how good the little French gimp really is. Any news on another meet anytime soon, I would look over the pages but Im on dial up and would takes me a good 1/4 hour to open a page lol. Watched a replay file of me Vs Shaun today that I forgot I had, made me wanna play some people again.

Dan, if you ever want to come up an play me (and most probably Kain) then you are more than welcome.
I have a very comfortable playing environment, I have a massive T.V with 4 perfectly heighted tables for resting the sticks on.
I also have room for you to stay over!

I work 9-5 Monday to friday, so you can come up any weekend you like (except this one, as it is my birthday and my nan insists on throwing me a party...).

Just moved offices to Sale (as opposed to the City Centre), much better office (IMHO) plus I live nearer to home.

Started a 'new' VF4 Kage file last night. Forgot how much I love VF (bloody Tekken!).

What about BB? Is it me, or is it full of gay's/slag's? The show's producer's how now sunk to a new low IMHO, there's no one who isn't stuck up their own ass. More importantly, why am I still watching it? LOL.
