yeah I do you slag! Not sure if I'll be able to come up cos when I start this new job its gonna be mental. If there are loads of people meeting up somewhere it will be more of an incentive to arrange some time off. Why cant they bring out VF5 right now then everyone will wanna meet up all the time? They better keep Lion in it thats all I say.

Sup all, wow new colour scheme in place.

Dan I think you get out of uni what you put in. If you're doing a degree just to get a job out of it then it may seem a load of shit. If you're doing a degree as you're interested in the topic and want to pursue a career in it/stay in the field then it won't seem so bad.

Can't believe I've finished my 4 years at Manchester, sometimes it felt like it'd never end, sometimes I wish I could go back and start over but it's all done and dusted now and even tho there was loads of ups and downs I'm glad how things turned out.

Will be back in Manc around sept I think, flat hunting at least, probably getting a place closer to the city centre than my other places have been as my office is about 5 mins walk from town.

Graduate on the 12th July, yippee, other than that I'm having a rest atm and then will look for a part time job just to raise a little cash for the summer.

Cheers Kain, hopefully meets could be made more regular, eg like once a month at my new digs and we wouldn't have to worry too much about space etc as I'll be getting a nice 2 bedroom place with ample chill out areas.

Shaun, yep, I have to PAY £40 to hire a robe and mortar board FOR THE DAY (ONE DAY!) for the 1 hour ceremony of graduating...basically playing £40 in order to walk across a stage and get my degree off some random no mark.

Still, I do quite like old english style traditions so I'm not totally against this (just the price!), can't wait to get my degree certificate...so it can just be thrown into some little folder where I've got my gcses and A levels stored lol /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Oh yeah I saw the challenges you and andy were doing on the arcaee shaun, very funny.

Well, I've allocated the next 2 weeks of my life "off" from doing anything, then I'll go job/flat hunting I think. Have soo many games to finish/start/replay I'll never get them done in 2 weeks.

Shaun have you done euro extreme on mgs3 yet?

Challenges?

As for MGS, I am nearly at the end now, (have already completed it once, am now trying to get all frogs).
I am a bit stuck though, I can't tell whether I have hit the frog on the motorcyle chase on the runway. It's the one on top of the sign, where the aeroplane is behind it. I take shots at it, and sometimes I think I have hit it, but I can't hear anything, is there a way to tell if I have shot it or not? (other than finishing the game!).

Just back from California where we got a shitload of money from my in-laws as wedding gifts. So it looks like a new PS2 for me tomorrow which means I can actually play VF again.

Oh and Shaun, thanks for keeping my Plops throne warm while I was away, I'll be taking it back now......

P.p.s are you going to get an American PS2? coz I don't think the games you have will work on it.

I'm getting a US PS2 and I'm going to just buy my games again. I think I'll still be able to use my ownsome save files (including the Final Fantasy X save file of DOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!) so it's all good.

I got some new cards myself from one of Amber's cousins. Penguin soldier, Jinzo, Magic cylinder and Magician of faith so I'm getting in pretty ownsome shape.

As for the cards, I have got you a Raigeki, I just can't pay for it as the wanker still can't receive money.....
I'm guessing Jinzo is getting a guarenteed spot in the deck?
Do the Penguin Soldier and the Magician of Faith have the same effects as they do in the game?
I have gotten you some Dragons (Level 4 Attk 1600 Def 600) with the same ability as Jinzo, only it only targets your opponents traps, not yours.......

I love the Monty Python's, got them all on Boxset DVD.

BTW Got the Operation Good Guys DVD Boxset. Before anyone say's 'WTF Is that?' It was a extremley underrated 90's Comedy, and defo a precursor for The Office IMHO. Made in a dry 'Docusoap' way, it has some LMAO's moment's. Highly recommended, DVD of the year so far for me at least.

Incorrect, sadly. As far as your PS2 is concerned, trying to load an FFX PAL save into FFX NTSC is like trying to load a Soul Calibur save into VF. It's not going to happen.

Already found this out unfortunatly. It's just a trophy save file really, all the bosses are beaten so there's not much else to do on it. I'll just have to start up a new one when I re-buy the game.

Much too busy playing Mortal Kombat: Deception at the moment though. Crap game. Awful engine. Can't seem to put it down. Hmm........


Oh and happy birthday Shaun, don't get pissed like a tool just because you're 18 now.
