Going to London

Well, I don't think it would, besides which I've seen (and played) Mike's Akira on fire plenty of times before, he hasn't just "suddenly" improved.

Anyhow there's no chance of me getting any money by then (I've now received an official letter from my bank manager, basically he wants blood right now) and even if I did it'd be a waste for me to go down to London as I'm currently out of touch with the game and there's no chance I'll get back to as good as I can be by the 30th for some proper play.

*Cue the endless posts about "getting a job", "not being hardcore", "giving up the ghost" etc...*

Yeah but like I said, Mike hasn't "improved"...maybe he seems to have improved to you as you've only played him about 3 different times over 2 years or something but I've seen him when he's been on form loads of times before.

If he has actually improved even more on what he was like when I've seen him at his best in the past then he'd best get to Japan and kick some ass.

Yo Ade, cheers for the text, can't believe Jennys has T5 in now, can't wait to play it there. Is there a card machine too? It's gonna take so much business away from TC, plus there's no chavs in Jennys, plus it's only in town!

Got Kazuya to Tekken Lord but by god the PAL AI is appaling...one Nina AI actually took about 90% health the other day...got floated for half a bar, rolled back (a la VF) and got smashed by her oki for almost half a bar again, too much! /versus/images/graemlins/lol.gif The Feng AI uses max damage combo of float > df+1, f+2,1, db+1+2,2, FC 3 all the frigging time!

Seriously tho Shaun you should see how stupidly damaging some combos are in T5, it's actually unreal. It's possible to get floated for half a bar, land, then get scooped right back up again and smacked for the rest of your health bar.

Having said that, kinda like some sick stuff back in the VF4 days...Akira in that was just extreme LOL. He's been constantly toned down since VF2.

I wonder what the hell Mye and Will are up too, I've not heard from them in time...maybe you could try and get in touch with them to go down London? Have you tried ringing Dan too?

Anyways I've not seen the guy in years. He moved down south I think last year for a year in industry and for all I know he's probably got a new phone now anyway.

I wonder what Will is up to these days tho.

Don't really care what will is up to, to be honest. He was never that good anyway. The way I see it, if you can't beat me, then you aren't worthy of VF. I would only just class myself as a decent VF player, so if you aren't able to best me in more than one fight, then you don't deserve to play. I was able to beat Will 100% whenever I chose, where as when I play someone such as yourself, or Ade, fair enough I will come out on top, but I will lose rounds/matches, and the fights will have been hard.

P.s. I am drunk, so if there are alot of spelling mistakes, then I apologise!

Moving back to manchester

Good news guys, I've finally got a place sorted for by move back to manc this Sept.

It's a UG/PG hall located just the outskirts of town (Grosvenor st). It's a little like my room I lived in last year only there are just 8 peeps to a corridor, plus there is an open common area part to the kitchen and dinning part...which looks ideal for another VF set up when we play or for just generally hanging out.

It's not far from town at all and is just over the road from oxford road station so it's really easy to get to for anyone travelling to meets. I know it's gay halls again but it's only for my first PG year I reckon, I'll try and get a flat or house for my second year, it's just impossible to find the right kinda flat atm. (besides the hall is quite cheap, I'll be saving sooo much).

Not sure when I'm back but when I get my contract in the post I'll have more details but I do know that it's 51 week residence so I'll be there for a full year.

Good to hear you moving back soon. Near Oxford Road Station? Nice, walking distance (just about, 10 minute walk from Jennies).
