Hi guys!
Great meet up! Bigup to Chris for organising the tournament! Enjoyed it a lot! Was quite dissapointed not to have played his LM_Akira /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif nonetheless it was stiil a cool day.
Oh yeah, many thanks to elite and his brother for metting me and maz at the station and escorting us to the place, cheers guys!

That way your bandwidth can be semi raped and I can leave mine up for a bit longer, or until I get an email telling me to stop abusing services /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi to all from the tournie. The matches I've got off the jap ps2 (me v deluna) are v.good. There's 1 where he is Lei and I'm sarah and get 2-0 up and he does a sick come back. that should be put on the net, but probably won't! (jap version) /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

My kage/sarah are on ice at the mo, as my data corrupted when I got home, so I'm starting my akira again. I'm upset I gave up my akira file now! (never mind).

hey guy. great turnout. firstly i would like to say a HUGE thank you to the guys from scotland for coming down, you were much better than same of the other guys, its a shame you didn't get to have many matches after the time it took you to ger down here, but i just want to let you know that it was great to play you guys. also, about the invite up to scotland, we will be able to make it any time you guys wanna organise it, it should be fun.
next i wanna thank chris for doing a great job putting the whole tourniment together, the knock outs were a huge success, hopefully you will be able to participate in the next one.
i now wanna tell the guy who kicked me out in the semis that it was a true honour to lose to such a high calibre shunnplayer, i am truly impressed, well done.
its nice to see that darius has improved again, hopefully he will be a serious contender next time.
Pinking, your akira skills amazed me totally. you are better than anyone i have seen that plays as him and you should be proud that you beat my bro.
(Andy wanted me to tell you that he felt he was playing very poorly and that he hopes he will be able to mount a more serious challenge next time, kind of a shame he had to face delune in the second round)
Will, i was suprised how much your goh skills have inproved, kep working on the punch/throw technique, you do fine.
ade, its a shame i didn't get to fight you, we have great matches and i was hoping for some good Jacky/Sarah matches, maybe next time.

Chris, as we were discussing before, the idea of the league sounds much better, that way everyone gets a fair chance to win (the guys who came up against delune had it rough). with the league the top 4 could go into a final playoff, with 1st and 4th playing and 2nd and 3rd playing, with the winners meeting in the final.

thats all folks, once again thanks to everyone who turned up, it was a great experience and i am pleased to have come 3rd, the two above me thoroughly deserved their position.

If you and your brother can find the time, I think we'll be having a fairly lengthy VF session on the 18th feb?

It's a wednesday though, so it might be awkward, but I'm loosely hoping it might tie in with half term or something?

Yeah respect to everyone who made it worthwhile.

Just to check, Ade are you still ok for a week this friday? I think its the 20th of feb. I'm really gonna try hard to come up with some new ways of using Akira and I'm also currently messing round with Vanessa too. I think I'll alternate secondary chars between Aoi, Goh and Lei. I'm going to try and see if we can get Ryan AND DeLune for the next meet we do as that would rock. It'd be a league affair too so everyone would get a chance to play everyone else. The play off the top 4 like elitev2 suggested. I'll put up some details soon.

i will have to talk to my bro about that, i can easily skip a day from school, but he works 12 hour shifts, so i will have to ask him what he is doing. also, the train fare might be a problem as money is tight at the moment, il check and see if i can find out how much it will cost.
if all is well then it should be a great time, (at least we will all get a fair chance coz we are all same skill level)
andy was saying that he is gonna improve his goh skills alot, so be warned.
p.s. im gonna be playing jacky alot more so beware, few have stood against the wrath of my no.1 character and lived to tell the tale.....................

Oh yeah I've done the first fuzzy guarding challenge now too!!!! Came close on the second one but its tough. Just need to do the recovery 5 times in a row section now (about 3 of them).

btw is 6th of March good for anyone? This is the date I'd like to hold the next manchester super battle (lol).

yes ade, your right, i havent seen how fit "see" is, if that even makes sense, but im sure that many people think that someone who they shagged is fit, otherwise, what would be the point. and it still doesnt excuse the fact that you think everyone gives a rats ass about your valentines night, but hey, maybe im wrong. maybe everyone on the site finds it most enjoyable to hear about how you "copped" on the night.....
