    BB

Dear oh dear oh dear what has become of BB?

Victor, strangling a cat, sorry, TRYING to sing? Coming onto the the ladies? Can't wait to see his face when he finds out about Nadia.

I think Becki will be out for sure as female evictees are nearly always persecuted and she hasn't fitted in well at all.

Why is Michelles face like a bo selecta mask?

How much mumbling does Stu boy do in the diary room? Ummmm, well, errrrrr, big brother, mmmmmmm ooo etc

Whats happened to the days of mindless nudity and arguments? It's time to make a stand people.

Ade, just started my 5th run through of res evil 0 so hopefully I'll get the clock under 5 hrs.

    Leech Hunter

Can't wait for the Leech hunter guide, I need 70+, hell even 50+ would do!

The Rainbow tune would be cool for third place, where's everyone's sense of humour?

I'm not really into metal, I think I'd rather force one of my eyes out with a biro than listen to a lot of the crap they make! /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif Flame my ass all you want, I really couldn't care less, sweaty men screaming down a microphone is not my idea of music! Go on, Metallers, Sing us a tune, Sorry I forgot, you make Rubbish! (OK, this is MY Opinion and for everyone that DOES like Metal, then you have my deepest sympathies! /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif)

    LOL

I think that a scouse/manc sense of humour really isn't understood well round here.

As for Leech Hunter, getting in the 50-70 mark isn't as bad as you'd think. Getting from 70-90 is tough and getting 90-100...well thats sick.

The weapons don't vary too much and there's an easy, logical way to approach which rooms to sweep first.

I also did a walkthru for Hunk back in the day as I'd nailed it perfectly with my guide. It was all down to intricte targeting and max ammo conservation. Plus a bit of luck!

Once you have the inf hunting gun, make it Billys main weapon, drop Rebbecas crappy bereta type gun and giver her Billys awesome colt M1911 type gun. Ignore the shotgun and pistol bullets and all you need to worry about is health, grenades, magnum and molotovs.

To make sure you;re on the right track the train section should only take about 25 mins...the first time I did it lasted about and hour and a half! After that the mansion part is fairly quick too.

Oh yeah btw Leech Hunter takes at least an hour or so to play properly...probably even more to get 100!

    Re: Leech Hunter

I'm a big fan of Leech Hunter, IMO it's the best mini game (well, at least the hardest!) mini game in a res evil game. Do you still have that Hunk guide? It'd be cool to see that.

At the weekend, I'll have a good run through Leech Hunter, I'm gonna have to dust off my GC especially, that remind's me, I still have finished Wind Waker OR Ocarina of Time! Better step to it!

Yeah LH is certainly the most extreme of the mini games. I liked Res 3 too , saving the peeps and wiping the floor with undead scum. Just like Dawn and Day!

I'll try and get the Hunk guide typed up soon.

    Missionaries

The missionaries mission in 3 was great, but the fact you could 'earn' the bonus weapons just through repetitive play (as opposed to the player's skill level) took the shine of it for me. Still, it was very good and reminiscent of dawn/day. Is Res Ev 4 coming out of the GC or PS2?

Resident Evil 2: the 4th Survivor, Hunk

*Disclaimer* This is a totally anal guide to RE2 I wrote about 4 years ago. It's all my own work.

After the intro has ended climb out of the sewer and head up the stairs. Go through the air lock into the I shaped room. Use the HANDGUN and shoot the first woman zombie and the zombie behind her. Cross to the middle of the room and shoot the zombie there. On the other side of the room are 2 more zombies. Shoot them till they drop/dodge past them and get to the door. Equip MAGNUM.

Go through the door and shoot the two visible zombies with clear headshots, run forward and shoot the other zombie. If you're slow another one will appear from the right of the screen. At the top of the steps, equip SHOTGUN and go down.

Run through the basement and past the 2 giant spiders there. Climb up ladder to the RPD basement.

With the SHOTGUN, take out the three dogs. Walk up to the exit door, equip HANDGUN and go through.

Quickly run forward and shoot the crawling zombie on the floor being careful to avoid the flaming zombies from the left of the screen and the other zombie on the floor. Head round the corner and equip the MAGNUM. Take out the two zombies there with clean headshots. Equip the HANDGUN and go through the door.

Once in the car park pick off all the dogs with accurate shots (watch ammo). Once dead RELOAD ALL WEAPONS. Head through door on other side.

Run around the corridors past the crows. When past the brown doors, head left and up the stairs.

Carefully take out the three guard dogs. Reload the HANDGUN and go through door at the end of the corridor.

Run forward and shoot the zombie near the door. Run into the office and down the right hand side of the screen. Let the first zombie bite you and push him off, hopefully taking out the zombie stood behind him. Run round to the blue doors, equip SHOTGUN and exit.

Quickly shoot the first zombie, turn left and shoot the three zombies there. Advance forward and shoot again if required. Exit the door into the main hall.

Equip MAGNUM, run through main hall to double doors on the left side of the screen.

Run around the gaint spiders on the floor and exit by the other door.

Run forward and shoot the killer that drops from the ceiling (be careful with aim as only one bullet should do). Go round the corner and take out the second and third killers in a similar way. RELOAD ALL WEAPONS and go through the door.

Walk down corridor and wait for giant plant to edge round the corner. Shoot it (4 bullets) and when you hear it wither and die, run around the corner and take out the next plant in a similar manner. Exit through the door.

Quickly turn right and head down into dead end. Equip SHOTGUN (MAGNUM should be empty) and blast plants until you hear them wither and die. RELOAD BOTH REMAINING GUNS and head up stairs.

Run down the corridor and past the Tyrant.

Equip HANDGUN and take out crawling zombie. Walk slowly past zombies on the floor, being sure not to wake them and take out the other crawling zombie. Hopefully you should not have used any herbs up to this point. Go through the door.

You'll need a bit of luck now, run past the mutated killers and to the door past the small desk. If they all attack at the same time you could be history.

Run through library and out into concourse. From a safe distance shoot at the nearest plant with your HANDGUN. Once dead do the same with the other plant (may need to lure it closer). Load SHOTGUN and brace yourself for the next room.

Let the first zombie bite you and push him off. Run forward and shoot zombies guarding the exit. You should have around 2 shells left now. Use herbs if you have to (quickly!) and go through door.

Aim right and fire once, fire again if necessary and run through corridor as zombies fall. Go through the door.

Hopefully you won't be injured and can still run by now. Run past the Tyrant as he comes for you and exit through the door to the roof top.

Sit back, chomp on a cigar and enjoy the brief end sequence!

    EDIT:

RE4 is GC only, RE Outbreak is PS2 only...as far as I'm aware.

    Re: lol

i see, i thought you were going to play those for the final.

    "Round 1"
    "Fight"

" The Only Way Is Up, Baby. For You And Me Now! "

as for the metal, I was thinking of stuff like Disturbed, Muse, Damage Plan, Pantera etc.

as for the abbrv. i got confused, coz i was looking through his command list on training, and it had a 'u' on the end, so i didn't know if people were getting it wrong or somthing.

Metal and drinking do go together, but the think is, i get totally hammered on three or four bottles of lager, so i tend to stay away from the alcohol.

as for a song, if we could time it so that the song "down with the sickness" kicks into the chorus as the first round starts, that would sound cool.

also, we could have "nothing else matters" on, as it is the final, and it would taking the piss out of the thris place playoffs by saying that it doesn't matter,.

    Music

Yeah Muse and Pantera would rock for the final fight. I was thinking the other day too, maybe we make the final an Iron Fight in a cage. With 1000 pt health bars the winner wold have an even sweeter victory because the fight could get so close.

Yeah the command list has youhou, in fact all Gohs moves are in Japanese too I think but everyone I know just calls it yoho and Creed has Gohs move list in english in his quick start guide.

Nothing else matters is a cool song too, that WOULD fit the final well.

    Ade:

LOL It took so long to unlock Hunk n Tofu in the first place I was determined to finish the 4th survivior. With Tofu it's stupid though.

Did you know on RE3 you could use a blag action replay cheat and use Tofu in the whole game!!! I did have a save of it but it got deleted. It was funny cos it talks as Jill and you can't see what weapon you have equiped!

    Action Replay craziness

Hmm, I've never heard of that one, Can you still get hold of an action replay and the code, or where I could get one from, that sound's cool.

Remind's me of when I put in a random code on my snes for Zelda 3 and I started the game with the best sword and shield! I saved the game, switched a few of the last digit's and eventually had all 4 bottles, hookchain and all the other stuff, I ended up doing all the castles in Reverse, just for the sake of it! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    Re: Music

the thing with the Iron Fight is, it favours people with more powerful moves, as they can do more damage. plus, people with huge wall combos would have an advantage too. but at least it would mean that Kage wouldn't have the chance of getting an open stage and just TFT'ing everyone out of the ring!

i still think that 'eye of the tyger' was the best theme.
as for third place, we could have 'when will i be famous' by Bros!

    Jam on Nipples?

    Ne1 c BB last nite?

Becki licking Jam off Michelle's nipples was certainly a highlight!

Well done to Shell for the first class honour's degree!

    Re: Jam on Nipples?

Yeah the girl Shell did very well. I enjoyed her nekid run around the garden (I'll never tire of her nudity!) even if it was just a little un-flattering to her...I really don't think naked women should run round too much. Same goes for Michelles run, she's got an arse like a pear! Oh and Ade your "old sig" was answered! No smoothie action going on at all! That said and congratulations aside I've a feeling Shell won't be coming here to check out what we said and how we were happy for in in getting a first /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Becki and Michelle eh? Uggh Becki was trying way too hard. Everyone had left by that time too. Wonder how Jason'll feel when he finds out he licked jam off a former mans implant. Euggh!

As for Iron Fight, it'd still be fun to decide a few games with. Anyways if you get you back to a wall or near it a good player can play themself away from the wall and out of danger. As for moves...what do you mean? No one char has "all higher damage moves" than any other.

I think eye of the tiger will remain as the definate final music.

    System file atm:

    Ade:
    Champion Lau, Champion Jacky

    Shaun:
    Warrior Jacky, Hunter Jeff

    Andy:
Champion Akira, Champion Kage, Destroyer Goh, 1st Dan Wolf, 1st Dan Shun

    Will:

    2nd Dan Goh

Most have nearly all correct items.

That RE3 cheat was on an old cd cheat thing...my mate had it and some codes from a book with it so I don't know if I'll ever get a chance to work it again as he got rid of it. I also had all weapons in MGS at the beginning and the rocket launcer in RE 1 from the beginning as a laugh.

Ahh got back into Hitman 3 and FFx-2 yesterday both really good games. Hitman is fucking brill though, I'm on a level where you have to assasinate an eccentric english man in his country manor! All his guards have flat caps and carry double barrallel shotguns or Gloc 17s. wtf?

Also hammering through Res Evil 0. Gonna get that smg at least!

    Becki

Becki was certainly trying too hard, but it's not like she's done anything amazingly wrong, I think it's just that she's the standby and they have a habit of leaving almost immediate (as in this case!).

Nice to see I have a Champion Lau and Jacky, I forget sometimes! They really are skanky chracter's, but I love em!

Looking forward to Bo Selecta tonight, I think he does Spiderman tonight! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif

    Re: Becki

Yeah I guess Becki is just unlucky. If she had replaced Kitten straight away say she'd stand more of a chance of staying in but it's juts too hard for her now. If she goes tonight I bet the crowd will boo her like mad.

On the system file I have:

Champion Akira, Champion Pai, Destroyer Lei Fei, Destroyer Aoi, 6th Dan Lau, 3rd Dan Brad, 5th Dan Vanessa, Default Goh

Of course I'm not going to use all these files I'm just messing around with things atm.

Nice sig btw... I can almost see James's face now "Eddy, you can't just shoot someone because of the way they look at you!"

    Shame I can't find a better picture!

Becki will go tonight, although from her antics last night, I would love to see a bit more girl on girl action! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif Chamone! I'm gonna play some Res Ev over the weekend (Probably Leech Hunter, are you writing a guide for that? That'd be cool! /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif)

Everyone have a good weekend, don't get too drunk, I won't!*

    Re: Jam on Nipples?

yeah, a good player can play themselves out of a corner, but sometimes it costs damage. and when i was talking about powerful characters, Jeff, Wolf, Akira, Brad . these can do more damage in general that people like Jacky, Aoi, Lion. plus, people like Goh. who have sod all combos cannot use the walls to any advantage at all. even Jacky, who has lots of strikes cannot take off much more damage with a wall hit, than that of a normal one. compare this with the damage that Akira can get with that throw that pushes them up and into the air, followes by punch kick, shoulder check. this is huge damage from a throw that is quite low damage on normal terms. i do realise that all characters have stuff like this, but there are character who have obvious benefits from walls, and those who can only really use them to gain a few extra points of damage from one float start.

    Woah woah woah...

Firstly how much damage does Jackys [6][4][P]+[G] or Jeffs [1][P]+[G] cost you? Both get you out from having your back in a corner. True if you're floated into a wall you're in trouble but using evade well should stop things getting to that stage.

Since when has Brad become a "high damage" char? All chars have high damage potential.

I still don't know what you mean about Jacky. He has huge combo potential ranging from 60 odd to 90 odd same as pretty much everyone else. Jacky, Lau, kage and Akira are probably the most combo heavy chars in the game. Goh and Aoi for example may not have as many combos as them but they can still rack up high damage and have other things at their disposal too.

Jacky has long range, high damage in combos, speed and a decent throwing game, not too mention a huge move list. He can rack up the damage just as easily as Akira can.

Ok, wall combo wise, Akiras standard [4][6][P]+[G] > [P][K] > knee or DBC does 99 damage or so. Jacky can get to the 100 mark too!

Maybe you don't use Jackys [3][3][K] as much as you should. Its just as useful as Akiras yoho. Give me some time and I'll post a list of combos that'll show you just how sick Jacky is in the damage stakes.
