Haha good luck if you're meeting (and playing against) Myke, his Kage is pretty damn mean...actually so are most of his other chars too. (he's not actually a mod though he's the admin around here).

    Leech Hunter

Ok Ade, this is a "blink and you'll miss it" guide to Leech Hunter. It's not as comprehensive as my Hunk one but it'll do the job.

    LEECH HUNTER

Ok, enter the hall and split up. Control Billy and go through the door on the left of the hall. Run into the bathroom and collect either shotgun shells or smg clip. Don't go all the way around the corner. Leave room and run round to the only other door on the corridor and past the transforming leech zombie. Once inside pick up the herbs: Green, Blue, Red. Leg it out and past the zombie back the the hall.

Team up. Let Rebecca take all health stuff. Pick up the herbs in the hall (either two greens or blue, green). Stay on ground floor and head right.

Take out zombies and continue to next corridor. Shoot two zombies on the floor but back track down past boiler...pick up herbs (can't recall what they are). Go to where the lighter puzzle was in main game.

Using Billy, edge over to hallway with Rebecca close by and take out the hunter with pistols. Raid the two rooms here for some herbs and grenade launcher. This may have acid shells or flame shells.

Go to where Rebecca fell to in the main game and take out hunter. In the small room, take out zombies. Go downstairs and use grenade launcher on all the spiders. Through the door on the right of the corrdor will be two weird cockroach type things and maybe a herb. The fire motif key may be there too. Take it. Head back to main hall.

Go through painting doorway. Take out all the spiders and go through first door on right. Take out zombies and go into next room. Take out hunters (about 5) and grab shotgun if you have room. Go round to other door back on the corridor where the spiders where, take out monkeys and go through into next room. Take out more monkeys and grab the smg or magnum.

Head back up to main hall. Now it's up to you where you go...If you didn't get the fire motif key before go to where the train crashed. Loads of hunters there and the key will be too. On the way there'll be either shotgun shells or magnum ammo.

There are hunters on some of the upper corridors from the main hall, some down a room to the upper right of the main hall and some in the room past where the boiler room is.

There are leech zombies to the upper right of the main hall (eventually).

There are more cockroaches in the breeding pit and the small room before it.

Elsewhere there are zombies and crows.

Take out all monsters everywhere, dump your weapons and go collecting. Don't collect as you go round the first time!

    NOTES

    Use pistols against zombies/crows.

    Use grenades/smg/shotgun/magnum against hunters.

Use grenades agains spiders/leech zombies/cockroach things.

When Billy has 2 big weapons, give Rebecca his handgun and drop her berreta. You can find an upgraded one upstairs so use this when you find it.

When you get to 90 leeches more monsters will generate so be careful when collecting.

    PRIZES

100 gets you infinite ammo for all weapons and makes some weapons appear earlier in the game.

90-99 gets you magnum revolver. Only has 5 shots and so far I haven't found any more ammo for it in the main game.

60-89 gets you infinite hunting gun. This you get on the train. Saves ever needing to use the shotgun again in the main game.

You already have the other prizes. The smg bullets appear throught the game. To get smg do the game in under 5 hrs for A rank and for rocket launcher do it under 3.5 hrs for S rank (I think, I'll double check this).

Off topic, Ahmed is really going bananas! .... I have a cold... therefore I can't clean boots...

Cheers, I've copy and pasted the guide into word, for use tonight (after the gym, of course!)

Came up with some easy wall combo's for Lau and Jacky last night. These were tested on Kage on FAST struggle, so unless your playing a japanese struggle master, they'll work!

    Lau

[2][P]+[K] (Wall Stagger) [6]+[P],[P] [3][P]+[K] (If they tech you can backstagger, but it's hard to time!)

    Jacky

    [6][6]+[K] (Wall Stagger) [6][P],[K] [8]+[P]
    [6][6]+[K] (Wall Stagger) [P]+[K],[P] [7][K]+[G]

I can't remember the damage, but there around the 90 mark! I'll try and come up with some more tonight!

    Cool stuff.

Have you read about Akiras new moves?

He now has [2][1][4][P]+[K] which is a sabaki/crumble type thingy I think and [6][6][P]+[K][P] which sounds like it can avoid some attacks and almost looks like his [4][6][P]+[K]+[G] in a way.

Ade, thanks for the combos, i don't have any myself, so i will probably use these.

what are the best ones from his [3][3]+[K]? cos i just use [6]+[P][P][K], coz it works on all characters (except Shun, the [K] has to be replaced with a [2]+[K]).

    Re:Jacky combos

Shaun, here are some [3][3][K] combos to monkey around with...

    [3][3][K] > [6][P][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 75/89
[3][3][K] > [4][K][K] > [6][K] c/o 72/86 (but opponent can avoid last hit by exact recovery which is hard to time)
    [3][3][K] > [4][P]+[K][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 67/81
    [3][3][K] > [6_][P] > [6_][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 66/80

    [3][3][K] > [6_][P] > [6][P][P][2][K] o 68/82

    [3][3][K](MC) > [4][K][K] > [6_] > [P][P][K] c 92 (Jackys sexiest combo but only vs Aoi n Pai)
    [3][3][K](MC) > [6_][P] > [K][P][2][K] c/o 88

    [3][3][K](MC) > [6][P][P] > [6_] > [P][P][K] o 89

All these were tested against Aoi...so some you won't be able to use against MWs and HWs but I'm not too sure which are best then, though I can look into it if you want.

btw off topic but heres a fucking STUPID guaranteed Shun combo vs Aoi (may work vs others not sure). I think you need over 12 drinks and the first hit must counter:

    From Chokarou stance (eg use [6][K] and hold) : [6][P]+[K]+[G][P] > [6_][P] > [K][K][2][P][K] 101 damage!!! lol!!!

    EDIT:

Shaun (and Ade I guess!) these are the best combos againts HWs:

    [3][3][K] > [2][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 60/74

    [3][3][K] > [6_][P] > [3][K]+[G] o 61/75

    [3][3][K](MC) > [4][P]+[K][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 81
    [3][3][K](MC) > [6_][P] > [2][P] > [7][K]+[G] c 78

    [3][3][K](MC) > [6_][P] > [6][P][K] o 78

MWs will fall somewhere between the two extremes of all these combos. Don't forget with Jacky you can change stance at will by pressing [P]+[K]+[G]. Jeff can change stance by stepping forward a little bit (as can Pai for some reason). All fights start in closed except for when you're fighting Brad for some reason as then the fight starts in open.

On the topic off bb...GET AHMED AND NADIA OUT!!!

Both have some serious issues. Did you know Ahmed fled from his country to avoid being called up for military service? As for Nadia, fucking hell someone shut her up and give her some nico patches. I've never seen anyone got that mental through lack of fags...she does have some serious issues with Jay too...probably bullied when she was a boy. Hmm thats a bizzare sentance.

    Chamone Ant-o-nay!

    DF DF+K

You know, I almost NEVER use this move! Jacky has a lot of 'safer' juggle starter's (Beatknuckle, [4][K]+[G] etc), although I forget the damage you can take with it, I guess it's the ultimate Jacky move for punishing whiffed moves/throw attempt's. I swear Chris has an encyclopediac (I KNOW I've spelt that wrong!) knowledge of juggles for almost every character? WTF? /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I hope Nadia goes this week, although I think Ahmed will. I can't understand one word from her God damn mouth!

    Re: DF DF+K

Hehe...I try and use [3][3][K] in a similar way to yoho (Jeff also has a similar move [3][3][P] which is slow but can rack up mad damage). Of course Sarah has the same move and Laus jack knife has become a [3][3][P]+[K] motion too in FT.

I think one of the safer combos I listed was

    [3][3][K] > [6_][P] > [6_][P] > [7][K]+[G]

and this'll work well vs most opponents but only vs HWs on counter. It really does pay to know some specific stance/char/hit combos though, since thats one sure fire way to maximise damage.

Guess I was just being Lazy!

Yeah, I'll look into [3][3],[K] juggles tonight. I've learnt stance specific combo's for his other starter's, I'm surprised I've not learnt any yet!

I've never thought of it as a yoho for jacky, although, it kinda make sense! Better get back to work, I've got LOADS to do!

Re: Guess I was just being Lazy!

Speaking of combos, I've just finished my Goh combo guide...he has some weird little combos that are different for different chars, like in different foot stance even though they're the same commands. Plus he has to use different combos in some cases against Shun. Stoopid old geezer!

As for Jeffs [3][3][P] move you can't really think of that as a yoho for Jeff since it takes 3/4 of an hour to come out. Good thing with yoho is that it'll miss some moves which is why a good trick is to use [4][4] > yoho.

For BB talk, I seriously want Nadia out she doesn't deserve to win anything nor stay in. She sound slike a broken record on how NOT to speak english. I can appreciate it's not her mother tongue but that doesn't mean she's still fuck annoying when she tries to argue. Especially with a pumped up scot! Och aye!

    Goh's style?

I have wondering for a LONG time about what the best way to use Goh is. What I mean is, is it best to flowchart with him till the cow's come home? He seem's to have a lot of unthrowcounterable moves that can be used in flowchart's (along with his great throw 'game'). The reason I ask is cos when Evo orginally came out (Japanese version) I was gonna use Goh, but never really 'understood' him. Does he get boring quickly or does he age like a fine wine?

    Re: Goh's style?

the thing with Goh, is he is ALL ABOUT GETTING YOU TO BLOCK. this is the way that Andy uses him:

constant abuse of all the different punches he has (which all look the same, but some are counterable, others aren't, some are half circular, others aren't, some can combo into a second hit, others can't.). this means that you are constantly taking counter hits if you try to attack, this makes you want to block, and the the huge throws come out.
one of Gohs best weapons is his shoulder ram, this puts you in a stagger, and the only thing yo can do is struggle and attack (if you think another throw is coming) or struggle and guard (if you think another shoulder ram is coming). this move is such a bitch, coz he can keep doing shoulder rams, putting you back on a stagger for as long as you keep attacking, the moment you block, you risk a 70 damage throw.
Goh is all about anticipation, knowing what your opponent is going to do, and then using a counter attack to beat it. this is why he has so many sabakis, one for any high or mid punch or elbow, which has huge damage potential, as it puts him in that grappling stance (i forget the name, Chris will surely know), one for any kicks that are high or mid, (incase the opponent tries to get you on a counter hit whilst you are trying to use a punch counter) and the all important low punch sabiaki (which is quite good damage, and, put together with his high punch sabaki, makes you think twice about punching after you get punched (the classic punch throw escape)

these reversals mean that the opponent picks their move vary carefully which has two advantages.
if the Goh player notices that every time he lands a punch, his opponent uses high/low punch, he can use the relevent sabaki and take a fair amount of damage. then, the opponent notices he is being sabaki'ed, and decided to guard, this is when the Goh player can use a huge damage throw and take more damage. the second advantage, is when the opponent tries to get clever and use a move that Goh is not able to sabaki. most of these moves are throw counterable, meaning that Goh can use a huge throw, and because he has so many directions to throw with, and all of them are high damage, it means that even if the opponet puts in three throw escapes, they can still take about 50 damage.

the whole deal with Goh, is trying to anticipate the opponents next move, reversing it, thus making the opponent choose to block the next time or use a throw counterable move. this is when he puts his good throw game to use.
the draw back to Goh is, he is not very aggressive. he does not have huge damage float starts with 70-90 damage combos from them all, nor does he have an arsenal of three and four hit combos and series with different level mix-ups and guard cancels.
from what i have seen from Andy (whom you all must adimit, that when he plays Goh full time, he is a mean mother fucker to beat), yeah, what i have seen from Andy is, to play Goh, you never really on the offensive, he is meant to let the opponent attack him, and then use his defensive techniques to scare the opponent into guarding

    Judo man: Goh

Yeah, Goh's grabbing stance is Tsukami. He also has the ability to kill TRs with [8]/[2][K]+[G] if you get it right.

Good points Shaun, Goh can be abused when you use his

    [P]
    [2][P]
    [3][P](elbow)
    [P][P]
[6][P][P] (these two moves can be delayed as well)

and it can be hard to know what to do when this is happening.

His stpm is a little weaker than Akiras and Laus as it needs to counter to knockdown.

His throw game is good as he has 3 strong directions [6] [4] [3] but also a half decent neutral and [6][2][P]+[G] throw.

His combo game is adequte but nothing spectacular. When I get my guide up you'll see Gohs best float is around the 65/70 mark. In fact he only has one true float move [4][P]+[K] , the rest are crumbles or knockdowns. He also has quite a few stance specific ones so if you're looking to combo non stop with him you need to check stance.

His style is meant to be Judo which is why he has so many good grapples/throws and isn't all that aggressive.

He has quite a few beatdown moves too like [6][P]+[K] [6][P][P] etc meaning you can eat damage from not TRing correctly. His sabakis are good too.

His shrm is one of the best headfuck moves in the game since Goh has loads of options to follow it up with. Hit throws, dash in throw, more shrms etc...

He is good fun to use though and as you know Ade I can normally win fairly easily with him, I juts get bored with using him against the cpu. He has loads of flow potential if you want to play him that way but at the end of the day I'd prefer Mr Snow...(lol yuki is snow in japanese and aoi is blue!). Akira Snow and Blue Umenokonuji reporting for newsround! lmao (ok dunno who to spell Aois last name!)

I hope you're mastering Laus [4][6][P] > [P][P][P][K] consistently Ade, wanna see you abuse it when we have the next meet!

btw Shaun your Jacky is now fully fitted out , as is your Jeff file. Jeff is Protector, soon to be Champion and Jacky is Warrior.

    Goh Analysis

I had a go with Goh (that sound's like a bad pun, but it wasn't meant to be!) last night and he seem's a good character, BUT I always have a sinking feeling at the back of my mind that Wolf can do everything Goh can, but a lot better. Although, you do have to take into consideration that I used Wolf as a second character back in VF3, so his movelist seem's more natural. We'll have to see how Goh is in FT, but Wolf seem's to have more 'skank's per square yard' if that make's sense. It's not that I'm switching character's (Trust me, I'm not!) just COMPARING character's.

I had a mess around with Lau's [4][6]+[P] juggles last night:

[8]+[P] Nice easy ender that work's on everyone, either foot stance
[2]+[P] [6][K]+[G] Closed. Looks nice. Open versus Shun (and takes a drink from him)
[P][P][P][2]+[K] Closed. Easy Alternative to the Professor ([P]delay[P][P][K]) juggle.
[2]+[P], WS+[K] I think in Open, but could be wrong! tried to get FC[K],[K] to work, but could be character specific (I don't have that much time! Chris, maybe you could check?)

    Re: Goh Analysis

If any of you are interested I just posted my Goh combo guide:

    http://virtuafighter.com/versuscity/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=112267&Main=112267#Post112267

As for Goh himself I have a sneaking suspicion I'll probably go back to having him as a second char after I've sorted the system file. Aoi will probably be my main secondary (if you can have such a thing) amd I'll mess round with Lau and Goh. Who knows maybe someone else too.

    As for Lau beatdown combos:

    [4][6][P] > [P][4][P][P] c and
    [4][6][P] > [2][P] > [2_][3][P][3][P]+[K] o

are the bog standard, bread and butter ones to know I think.

Following low punch with WS[K] is an evil flowchart since WS[K] is half circular so I like to use that quite a bit and it certainly is posible to slot it into combos too (dunno if it's guaranteed though).

Offtopic, lmao at Ahmed...everybody hates, hates, hates me. They hate me. I am hated. No one listens to me. I am hated and so on...Plus is Stu ever going to learn how to use the english langauge? More importantly will he ever finish a sentanace when talking to Michelle?

The shower scene with Shell/Michelle was amusing last night...until Nadia gegged in. Hmmm perhaps when they come out they could do BB: After hours...make a load of money on the side? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shaun, if you can watch movies here check out:

    Some fucking awesome fights!

    FUCK!

Seriously Shaun you need to see this video, Andy too:

    http://oguo.campus.luth.se/vf4evo/media/film/tech/combo/goh/Goh2.mpeg

It's Goh combo vid from Def Akira but he gets up to 160 damage from a wall! Seriously he has some combos that go up to 145 or so from a wall.

I'll transcribe them when I get the chance.

    Wolf

I have been thinking recently about using the wrestler. NO, this is not new thinking, cos I used this guy back in VF3 as a second character (after the ninja!) but dropped him in 4 cos they made him a lot more moves (and catch throw etc) and it put me off using him (a similar thing happened with Kage + Juminji in VF4, probably why I used Lau instead), but like the idea of using the wrestler, cos I'm a big fan of having a multitude of throw's/low throw's/ground throw's at my disposal. I think it was seeing Bun Bun Maru back in the day (with the red hair!) and the giant swing that made me get into him again. Watch this space, 'Shut up...Just come on!'

    Re: Wolf

My god hwat is happening to you Ade???!!!

First you drop kage after coming 4th in the last tourney wiht him.

Then you skank it (like me!) with some badass mofo Lau action.

    Now Wolf?

Even the avatar has been changed you must be serious!

    What next...Dural? /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

btw all those Goh combos are quite silly (most not guaranteed, always using counter hit, often vs Aoi, some with huge charge up of [4][P]+[K]) but it juts goes to show you want damge you can get with the judo meister.
