Yeah cheers, I remember you showing it me a while back.

The only problem with our group is that everyone is so eager to play, people can easily lose track of who's won what amount of matches (especially when people are always changing chars).

Still, it's something to look into.

    EDIT

    To the jungle-is-massive-crew:

Here's a link to the tourney thread and that's where all discussion about it should go please.

strange how this thread turned into an indepth Akira guide.

as for me and Akira, i have picked him up semi-seriously, i don't really enjoy playing the game much at the moment, coz i am sick to the back teeth of playing Andy, and the computer is lame.
i was going to go down to London soon, but i can't really afford it. (i don't really want to waste so much money to go and play a computer game, as sacreligious as this may sound).

don't be daft, real life comes before the game everytime. It's really not worth travelling to play when you aren't enjoying the game trust me you won't enjoy it, I know.

There will probably be another trip sometime later in the year especially if london gets an FT arcade, you'll always be welcome to tag along with me so don't sweat missing this one.

    Re: London

yeah, real life, sounds like fun!

to tell the truth, i wouldn't mind going, if it wasn't going to cost so much, but there are a few other things i would like to spend my cash on first. and besides, i find that coming up to Scotland and playng you guys is more than enough of a challenge, so until the time (should it ever occur) that i can beat you all with ease, i don't see the point in seeking out other people to play when it will cost me twice as much more, take an extra couple of hours on the train and i probably couldn't afford to eat in London anyways, coz everything costs so much!

by the by Ryan, any news on another Scottish meeting?

    My goal is 20 stone

I wanna get under the elusive 20 stone, I now go to the Gym 4 times (at least) a week, so will break the barrier EVENTUALLY (Fingers Crossed!).

BTW Ryan Hart said he's coming to MC on the 25th Sept! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif Bow down to his greatness!

    EDIT:

Great playing you last night Mye, I found your Lau a real demon! Ring me when your free!

    Re: Ryan Hart

    Ryan is coming to Manchester?!?!

sounds great, i think i will set myself a goal of beating him in one round with both of my characters, (should i get the chance to play him enough), although i don't think my Jeff will do too well, i think i might be able to get a round off of him with Jacky.

i would pick my Akira against him, but i don't think it would be fair on him to beat him flawlessly, and i would make everyone else who uses Akira look like novices. my combos are the best:

    [3][3]+[P], [P], [6][6]+[P]
    [2_][6]+[P]+[K], [4][6][6]+[P]+[K]
    [4][6]+[P], [8_]+[P]

    no-one can beat these combos.

Chris, are you still using that really easy combo from the Yoho? you know, that one that ends in the Double-Palm?
you should try and learn some of mine!

Yeah Shaun, I'm sacking off those max damage yoho combos (ie 97 on counter for yoho > p > knee > dbpm etc...) for those you've posted.

If anyone hasn't realised this already Ryan Hart has said he'll be making our sept tourney.

Yeah that's right, better get practicing NOW!

I aint playing there unless you're paying buddy. I think all you stick guys just like to close your eyes and enjoy the feel of a nice hard shaft between your fingers.

I'll just watch in the arcade or something, besides WHEN you lose every match in the arcade (which is inevitable) they'll think I'm shit by association and then I can kick some ass on the console.

See I've got it all figured out...

I prefer to think of it as paying for quality comedy.

Anyways you can do tft > knee on a stick, you'll be fine.

    Re: Ryan Hart

Yeah I can do that because you get years to get ready for it. I can't step for shit on a stick though. Anyway, as long as I don't pick Akira I might do ok.

I'm better on a stick than you are on a pad which is all that matters to me /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Although you were playing Akira but that's besides the point.

haha i'm just kidding. it's ok, everyone who plays at troc has an immediate excuse; shitty controls! not something you can say on the ps2. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Those control's took me an entire day to get knee in TFT combo's! I guess those control's are good for the 'skank' character's (Sarah/Jacky) and a bitch for Akira! I defenetley plan to make another trip or two to London before the year is out.
