How you find those sticks in the Troc may well be proportional to how good you are at the game....because I found them absolutely fine!

If anything the fact they're mounted on a cabinet makes them more playable than a console stick resting on your lap.

well this may be true for most sticks, but for me (and most london VF guys) the ones in troc are pretty awful. usually a match becomes You VS Stick rather than You VS Opponent haha!

Kage used a lot less in FT?

First Chris;Respect, I guess the SMG helped. I swear ResEv 0 is hardest one yet, how much ass does the Rocket Launcher kick? I hope it's as good as the one in 1! (Which, ironically, I was playing last night! )

One day I'll do invisible mode/real survival, although I wanna complete SH2 on hard first! I've gotta find the time first! (Bloody Gym!)

Now, I've read Kage is used a LOT less used in FT than in Evo in Japan /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif. I hope this is just a 'transistional' period and Kage continues to be a dominant force, although time will tell). I'm sure he's still a kick ass character, just gutted that I'm gonna have work EVEN harder to get victories with everyone's favourite (well, at least for me!) Ninja. I guess I've just gotta bite the bullet and accept we're not ever going be going back to the 'glory days' of VF3, /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif, tis a dark day, but at least there's a least at the end of the tunnel and I can see her now, Flamingoing the living shit of everyone! /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif 'Go back home!'

Kage's sidekick does seem to work a lot, it seem's to have some 'high priority' thing (it also switches stance in Evo). For some reason I love using Kage, even if I'll always be better with Sarah!

LOL, I forgot about that, that's another tick in the 'negative' pile for Kage in FT. I ain't gonna drop Kage, but keep him as my second character (as I have been doing for the past two month's!).

Sarah's always racked up more win's than Kage ever did for me, as much as I tried to pretend it was the reverse!

From what I have heard, I think the changes made to Kage are fully justified, because making one of the best characters harder to use, seems to be the way the game works.
the TFT change is one of the things I think is very good, as it means that poeple have to think about using the throw, instead of just spamming it everytime a throw counterable move is blocked.

Jesus! Really? I missed it, been playing Syndicate for days solid... don't ask.

Well pissed off, my traditional summer trade in of Pro Evo is pointless this year as it has gone platinum. Bah. Was tempted to get Winning Eleven 8 but I'm told it has slowdown probs. Will wait and get PES4 on PS2 (XBox if they add Live! play).

I'll have to see about how stuff is at Keele uni but if i do come up it will be with TV and my old PS2. Not risking my sexy chipped PS2 with all you psychos /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I think we do have a cd writer at home *looks around confused* but we don't have any cds. Ade I could do you a tape (if other people than me still listen to them).

Oh yeah we need a boom box too, to play Eye of the Tiger for the final. I'm buing a lod of tapes soon, so I'll juts record Eye over and over on one side so that I don't have to keep looping the cd track myself.

We could also have entrance music for the 4 finalists (1-2 place fight and 3-4 place fight) /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

btw juts bought Underworld for £8 off play. Pretty good film even though it's been done before to some extent.

Let's see, I've gotta practice strat's/combo's versus Akira, Lau, Wolf, Jacky, Pai, Lion, Jeff, Goh, Kage etc, it's gonna take a lot of practice!

Silent Hill 4 Tonight?

Gonna TRY and buy Silent Hill 4 tonight from somewhere in Manchester on import after work. If I get it, I'll post a brutally honest playtest tomorrow. If I DON'T get it tomorrow, then I'll order from somewhere, I need that game almost as much as I want Kylie Minogue sucking on my ball sack! /versus/images/graemlins/cool.gif
