Now, it looks like it'll be a few days before my bank account settles down and I see the money involved with PayPal being taken out. 5 days max it looks like. Right before I order anything I'll check with you waht you want ok Ade?

If you end up getting the SC2 one, don't worry too much (it is cheaper like) as when I get my next stick (and Akuma SF pad!) I could order you another one if you want too, but that's a long way off so nothing to worry about yet.

Cool. OK, I know I'm gonna have to wait a while, but getting a stick (even a 'crappy' SC2 one /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif) is worth waiting for. As long as I get it before Christmas I'll be a happy man. If shit hit's the fan and the RAP goes out of stock/unavailable (even with the 1 to 2 weeks delay) between now and the time you can order the RAP, then go for the SC2 stick (it just look's better than the Hori Mk2, it look's like a cheap and nasty stick compared to the first IMO).

I kinda have a feeling that internet gaming fever is taking a strangle hold on me, I've already seen Jap VF2 and the SF:Ken Edition SF pad that's saying 'Buy Me, Buy ME!' /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif. The darkside is taking over, and my bank account is shrinking by the day. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Play Asia: £71.51

LikSang: £74.98

and that's both with the cheapest shipping possible. Bear in mind the probable £20 odd hike by customs that's what you're looking at.

If you want the SC2 from Liksang (could be a lot quicker than RAP) then it'd be

£44.20

with cheapest shipping.

Have to see how things go.

So I'm assuming it's the following prices: (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

RAP

Play Asia: £71.51+ £20/25.00=£91.51/96.51

LikSang: £74.98+£20/25.00=£94.98/£99.98(!!!!)

SC2

£44.20 +£20/25=£62.20/67.20

I'm assuming these are the right prices? Let me know!

Yeah you're right with the RAP prices but ...

SC2:

£64.20 or £69.20 is what you're looking at (that is if you do get charged extra!)

I thought I'd be right (I was praying I wasn't!). But I guess it's not liek we all buy a stick every day of the week, so I'll still have the RAP if possible. Just bear in mind my previous post of availability. Hell, if I could afford it, I'd buy both, infact, I might buy whichever one I don't get nextyear for my birthday.

Obviously get the cheapest opition available. Actually, are these the only two sites that sell them? Or are there others? I know these are the two the best track record and I certainly don't want to buy from a 'dodgy' web-site.

No idea about any other stockists but these 2 are definately to be trusted. If you wanted both, shipping would go up by a few quid on top of the additional cost.

I'll get another next year, better to have two instead of just one. Shame Namco's are hard to get hold of nowaday's. /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Although they did come out in 96, for Tekken 2, so it's to be expected.

On a VF note (for a change), I find it ridicously easy to to Axe Blade on a pad, I mean REAL easy, but I find everything else ridicously hard to do everything else.

I've just had a look on yesasia.com, I searched 'hori' under 'games' but it can't find anything? Have you bought anything from them in the past? How much is a Real Arcade Pro Stick and a SC2 stick?

I found nothing under Yes Asia when I loked ages ago, don't think they sell sticks.

About the stuff, do you want to go with the SC2 + Ken pad bundle? I'll look into it now.

As it happens, I texted Will last night and we're both free the 11th Dec (sat as usual) so that's the date for the next meet. I was messing around with chairs in my room and we should be able to get away with 2 setups (I now have 3 chairs and of course use of the bed for peeps to sit on).

Further more I actually sat down and made myself play some VF after a lack of play for about a week. I pretty much dropped using Aoi and Goh after 25th sept so I'll be aiming to be using just Akira until the meet, tho I may try get back into using either Goh or Aoi as a single secondary.

My playing was kinda shaky having not modified a move on a stick for ages but I'm determined to get back to the level I was at on 23/24th sept (not the 25th as I went off the boil then, I'm sure Mike, Edward and Ade can testify to this.)

I'll post more details soon.

Chris, go for the SC2 stick + Ken SF Pad, I can't be arsed waiting for the RAP, plus all the other point's I mentioned in the text last night. I'm assuming you won't be able to order it till tomoz?

I'll be coming to the meet on the 11th Dec (and the 24th November next week). It'd be nice to get the stick b4 the meet next week, but I won't hold my breath! /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I'll ask Mye if he want's to come to the meet on the 11th Dec, but don't hold your breath!

Here's the deal...

SC2 + Ken pad + shipping = £59.62

and both are currently in stock and ship within 24 hors, meaning you could possibly have them both by the end of next week. The additional bit of weight from the SF pad only adds £2 or so to the shipping. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's around 2.85 kg or something (think rap is over 4!) so dunno about extra charges over here, even so it's two good controllers for less than the price of the rap.

So, SC2 stick + Ken pad, is that your final answer Mr Evans? LOL /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Go on then, I don't think I could take waiting up to and including 3 weeks for a stick, it would cause a lot of hassle I think to wait that long (and it would be bloody annoying, let's face it!).

Hmm, maybe this time I'll be able to use Akira properly (I remember the day before the 25th I was using Akira on your stick and was nailing mod-dplm's all the time) but we'll see how it goes. I need to get back into VF big time and the power of the SC2 will HOPEFULLY do that.

Oh and last night my GTA disc stopped loading in (when you leave your house) and freezing on the loading screen, although after a quick wipe, it started working again, PHEW! Express yourself, it's grove street!
