I can't do Sunday but will come to some in future I imagine. Just spent a grand on a proper tv finally and it's a thing of beauty. 32" HDTV - Gotham 3 looks stunning, Perfect Dark isn't bad either. Blown away.

 

Hi all, got the Namco stick today, have been rinsing the hell outta vf today. Am not used to a stick like that-bloody hell its so much better than the one I had before. Watch out-I mean business now! /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Good matches all round tho, it was a good session again.

Scott, I think Goh is your strongest char but you're handy with Lion, Aoi and Kage. Some close fights, yoho owned some bs yesterday LOL. I can't believe I let slip a 4-1 lead against your Aoi, Doh!

Matt, good play at the first session you've been too. I'm sure you'll pick up loads of strats from Dan's Lion if you ever play him.

Same again for next week fellas, at mine for around 12.30-1.

Wish I came yesterday, the Man U V Liverpool match was so fucking dull.

Fingers crossed will be going to the next RB with Dan (and anyone else).

Using tons of wolf and jeff, so much BS in wall combos and free hits with them. Again, Sunday is a bad day for me, but will try and make it if possible.

 

Chris, when is the next meeting?
I'm thinking of coming, because I have recently started playing again, and I want to play the new competition, and in my 'weakened' state, I think you guys could get the better of me!

 

The next meet will be this coming Sunday if you can make it. We've actually managed to turn meets here into a weekly event.

Synth should be coming to this meet as well as possibly his brother...so that's 3/4 "new" players.

Hmm, Sunday sounds do-able. I can't remember where you live (or even if I have been to your most recent place of residence), so would you be able to meet me outside Blockbuster like usual?

Sorry guys, I have my family coming up this weekend and they are bringing little children with them, so I have to help my Nan out with taking care of them. I know it might sound like a bit of a lame excuse, but unfortunately, due to this, I can't make this Sunday. Hopefully, if you are running meetings every Sunday, I'll be able to make it to the next one.

Yeah no worries, we should be having weekly meets on a sunday so I'm sure you can make one sometime.

Also, I live in a totally different place now, I'm literally a 10 min walk from Picadilly station and a 5 min walk from Oxford road station. The room we use for meets (kitchen/tv area) is also at least 8 times bigger than my old room, so space for players and set ups is not an issue.

That means I don't have to walk for an hour from the station to your place; you could just meet me at the station (though I am not sure if the trains from here go to Piccadilly or Oxford road, they might go to Victoria instead).
Would you happen to know what station trains from the Blackburn side of Manchester go to?

Anyhow, I look for to the meeting, (whenever I can get across)...

Just checked, and the only trains are to Victoria, so I don't know if you could meet me there (I have no idea where Victoria is in relation to Piccadilly), or if I would have to get a taxi from Oxford to Piccadilly, because the last time I did that, it cost me almost ten quid!

 

Your best bet is to get the metrolink to St. Peters Square and we can meet you there. It's about 10 min walk from there.

Oh and this WILL piss a few people off (myself included) did anyone know that in the Japanese version of Sonic Collection released last year that you got Streets of Rage 1,2 and 3 with it as well! Apparently they removed them for the PAL release so it could get a U certificate for kids! /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I'm getting Alpha 3 MAX for my PSP the day it comes out in america ( feb 7th ). Looks awesome! and has eagle, yun, maki and ingrid that wern't in the original alpha 3.

Sunday sounds good to me, any chance we would be able to have some games of 3rd strike? like if Ade brings his PS2 @_@ my Oro is gettin good.

 

IF I go I won't be bringing my PS2, cos I'll be going gym before hand. I'm sure you could always bring yours, why should it ALWAYS be down to me?

 

I can't fit mine in my bag with my stick. Xeion (matt ) has a chipped small ps2 but i don't think he can make it this sunday.

Yeah, I do have it on xbox and have an xbox stick and (safe) convertor so we can have 2 player 3rd strike, HSF and CvS2 on my xbox.

As well as the superb DoA and SVC: Chaos! Rock on!
