Northern California VF Thread!!

Sakura isnt a charge character, I got to player her over the weekend quite a bit. She seems pretty good, very combo heavy but didnt seem to do a ton of damage.

I dont know how to play Dhalsim.

C.Viper is probably one of the most advanced/technical characters in the game. Id say 'Sim is up there too. Seems like people who are new to the game have an easier time playing Geif than anyone else.

 

Sebos chunli is TOP TIER. lol

Just some dude. I've only played against Renzo, Scamp and Srider in person (a long-ass time ago). Pretty sure I've played 001 online, though. Hoping to get back into VF again, hopefully bring a few people over from the SCIV community (not too likely, but hey...)

Gaaah, after trying to play SF4/KoF XII/Art of Fighting for the past few months, messing around on HDR for the past few hours, spending countless days on Shoryuken, asking a number of players, I must say in my scrubby opinion: 2Ds aren't games, their players are the most unhelpful, and their communities are comprised of elitist pricks who aren't willing to teach and are incapable of writing a coherent/comprehensive strategy.

Mash attacks, you get a combo.

Give the stick a hand job, pull off an attack.

Grrr.

GAH yet another issue. Online, much like online for VF, is even shittier than offline (Impossible?!).

God damn, a game so fast, where is whiffing? How do people play this shit? :

1.Mash a string and get a combo is what it looks like at arcades.
2.Have move-based yomi.
3.Um... lose to everyone in the world because they are capable of comprehending such a shitty game and shitty series in a shitty genre.
