I can read plainly the state of NorCal VF, but it's worth asking anyway. I'm going to be going to Stockton(I'm pretty sure that's the name) for Thanksgiving. I'll be there from the 24-28.

I am planning a big tournament in the south bay area here in northern California for 2010 and was checking for interest for Virtua Fighter 5. Do people play VF in NorCal? Do people play VF at all? I would like to support this game is there actually is a community for it. Please reply with any thoughts or interest. Thanks.

If you were to look through every 10 pages of this thread you'll notice that the player roster has changed drastically since it's inception. But at this point we're all gone.

I recently dusted off my copy an play and remember why I played in the first place, my friend Renzo has been discussing playing again, and 001Akuma and Haunts may be down for something but that would be it. Hardly worth a set up and anyone's time. Sad but true that the best fighter has no representation. Maybe if people like Justin Wong, Daigo, Ross, and other peeps that stomp around shitty 2D games (play VF4EVO tutorial, get immersed, and you too will agree) played VF maybe the masses would join, but alas. There is no God/justice/hope/peace in the Middle East.

Good luck with the tourney. May all the lowforwardlowjablowjablightshoryukencancelfocusattackdashcancelultra-tards bring the hype, discuss ufc, and jerk each other off using the same joystick motions.
