Northern California VF Thread!!

got a couple family parties to go to the next couple of weekends. hopefully can do something in feb.

you guys should at least try to hook up together without me in the meantime if possible.

but i do have vf3tb and some converters that can be used with ps2 sticks (and even a guide with the movelist, woopty doo)

 

session at my buddy paul's house tomorrow in san ramon. it will mostly be sf4 and kof13 but if any of guys come i will play vf with you.

there will be lots of bbq and booze. starts around 1pm and will go till pretty late.

So who here will be at NorCal Regionals? I get a feeling that attendance might be worth one's while, even if you're not playing the tourney games.

 

It was good to meet NorCal, shirt, brisal(who I've met before), and play the new game for a bit with you guys. Just to let every one know I got back ok, just a long crazy fun trip. Hope to see u guys online and get some games in.

 

gonna be playing games in concord this saturday. mostly cvs2/kof13/ae/maybe sc5 but will bring vf5 ver.c if anybody is interested.

So since the game is probably coming out in June, I think it'd be good to arranged a regular meet-up spot that we can all head to every month or every two weeks to play and have tourneys. There are multiple places in the Bay Area that are open to hosting gatherings, tournaments and whatnot. Southtown Arcade in SF and Gamecenter in San Mateo are both good spots, but I'm open to going wherever people are gonna be playing.

Well, FS comes on June 6th so I assume everyone will take his time on the first weekend(6/9). Evo is on early July so maybe 6/30 is not a good time either. The choice left is 6/16 or 6/23, which one is better? I personally prefer 6/16

Any idea??

 

I have some commitments the weekend of the 16th, so my vote goes towards the 30th.

 

Either the 16th or the 23rd are good for me. I actually think a pre-Evo gathering on the 30th might be good preparation.

 

I thought 30th is kind of tight with EVO but actually I think I'm fine.

As long as the place I can drive there, I can bring my PS3 and my VSHG(dual mod) for sure.
