Good times, all! Getting out there was a trek but I had fun and saw lots of new places and faces.

  5. I haven't touched VF5 since becoming jobless a few weeks ago. Either I'm going to be going all out at the STA ranbat tomorrow, or I'll be the world's greatest pot monster. I'm curious to find out. :D

had a lot of fun this weekend and took a nice number of games off crazydrunk's shun and ran a train on his pocket lei fei lol. thanks to ali for introducing me to the usefulness of stair step/zigzag dashing as well as square/box dashing. it really helped me make more use out of evading which ive been lacking in for too long. ill try to a make video of how im able to "korean" backdash now using the hitbox. hopefully it wont get the hitbox banned from future tourneys haha

Had another great time at Southtown this past Friday! Thanks to everyone for the excellent matches!

I find that hitbox of yours compelling, Cobra. I can't imagine playing Wolf on it with all the circular inputs. What do you prefer about it over a conventional stick?

i, as well as everyone else look forward to hitting your korean backdash with a mid kick and getting some butt down staggers into 100dmg combos.

360's could pose an issue but not too difficult to get the hang of. Before VF I was able to do a few standing 720's with Zangief in SSF4. Somethings of course are defintely harder on hitbox like stagger struggling but with enough practice its possible. In the Dojo I was able to break out of Goh's crazy stagger a couple of times.

you should make those vids with the joystick inputs instead of the frame data input

thought about that after i made the video but its really simple to see what im doing visually.

Can someone tell me what a Korean backdash consists of?

A hitbox makes movement so easy, I'm surprised some hitbox users aren't overusing movement cancels and such (and I know a few). I specifically bought a hitbox for CDs and other double diagonal directions, but since evade dash is much more common in this game and Brad doesn't have any 33 type moves, I find stair/box stepping to be a main reason to invest in a hitbox, personally. It's so fun and easy, and I've never seen anyone stair faster than I can.

not entirely sure how the tekken korean backdash works but in this game its probably easier to stairstep than it is to kbd in tekken since u dont have to worry about diagonals.

  18. You're the reason why I'm ditching Wolf for the next season of ranbats. My new waifu will be Taka. :D

If you like Wolf keep at it man. I'd look forward to a mirror match!

    Taka's a beast though too.
