NXE(VF5 Fake Uber Lobby System of pure WIN!)

If I could figure out how to fix my router so I hear what people say I would be more interested. I fear my router also slows down my play.. But Im at loss how to fix it. I dont know the config ip for starters.

 

Party Chat is easier. In Private Chat, you had to change channels constantly to talk to your four friends(Private Chat limit)In Party Chat, you could talk to people at the same time(8 is the limit). Compared to Private Chat, were you only could talk one at a time.

Yeah we were having a pretty fierce player match. I was only able to talk between rounds or matches. It's nice to have something to listen to while we play though and chime in when I get a free moment to think about words.

 

Thanks for the help but, with NXE the view has changed, the problem is that I dont know what IP my xbox is currently using. Or what IP I should set it up to.

edit: I tried different addresses, but connection doesnt seem to work except when I try with the addresses automatically assigned: 10.0.0.3 (GW 10.0.0.2).

Good news is is that I found my routers config address, 10.0.0.2, bad news is that theres a password prompt and I dont know what the user or PW is :/. Note: I bought this router myself after the previous one that came with the internet connection was getting faulty. Too bad I have misplaced the manuals..

 

That site has everything manji... look for the overall starting guide. I think it's called ' How to setup a static IP ' or something along those lines. Once you do that everything else will make sense. Even though the NXE dashboard looks different from what's in the pictures, they are all labeled which hasn't change so pay attention to the name of each blade and such. Trust me if I could do it you can too.

 

Its not "how" to do it, its certain crucial information that is missing.. and Im supposed to know it but I dont.. And the guide you linked doesnt help in this sense.

And quite frankly I wouldnt want to phone my ISP.. especially since I know propably ALL my problems would solve if I knew how to access my routers config page...but I dont.. cause I dont know the user/password..

I guess I just have to buy a new router...just to get access to the manual.

edit: to reiterate: the problem is that my NAT-type is "moderate". Changing that is the bigger problem for me.. BECAUSE I cant access my routers config.

 

if you know your router's IP address you just type that number into you web browser window. I pretty sure it works if you type in your computer's IP address too.

 

This is something I still need to do but I fail at this shit, everytime I try I get nowhere /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

Thanks! I searched for an online guide and found it, now im in the config! I duont know why I didnt try that before..

 

I have now forwarded the ports needed by xbox360live as per the guide linked. We shall see if this helps.

At least it might let me hear what other people say in voice, if anything. Although in some cases I dont know if its a blessing or curse in ranked..
