12hr sessions with Youske= 2000 EXP. Playing youske in person, and speaking to him was really a great experience. I didn't want to ask him questions about the game because I didn't want to come of as a Fanboy. But, discussion's about VF happen less then a second. He truly loves this game, better yet, this series. The game seems totally different playing him. I learned alot playing him, and watching him play others. Rodney said it the best"He see's the game differently then we do, or better yet, top Japanese players in General"

Props to the slackers that came late, lol, I kid, Props fellas, because the weather was not kind on Saturday. And how I could forget that AWESOME restaurant, Rodney took us to. Youske killed the bread with Mayo, lol. And the ladies in there WHAO! We were the only dudes there on one point. Oh yeah, the food was great too, lol.

One thing I learned from Youske was, Thinking on what to do, is not a good idea, because you should know what to do already .That's what I learned.

Yeah thanks to everyone who came out for Yosuke. He really appreciated it and said at some point he will definitely be back since he finds my place to be very comfortable. I guess we can assume he will make a spring / summer time visit.

Unlike ShinobiFist, I asked a shit load of questions! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif I guess it was easy for me to not feel like I was imposing on him, because this is not the first time that I met him. I ask a few things about the game and more things about how top players think or what do they think about. I definitely came to the conclusion that these kinds of players whether it's VF, SF, DOA, etc... they just see the game on a playing field that the common / average players just can't understand until they themselves find that plateau. I felt a little bad, because although Yosuke, tried to explain and give insight I realized that those kind of things you just can't put into words. You simply just understand it like how there are some things in different languages you simply can't translate into English... You just have to feel it and understand it.

I learn a great deal from Yosuke and he really helped me understand VF5 a little bit better and what it takes to be a top player. Hopefully the knew knowledge he helped me to acquire with Akira will take me up a few notches in terms of my gameplay. It looks like thanks to him I finally have some drive to start playing VF again, so I guess I'll be online a lot more until January 19th, 2009. After than I will jump ship to my main XBL account as I don't plan to renew my Konjou account unless we get VF5:R. I highly doubt we will be getting VF5:R any time so since no gameplay changes have taken place. Even Yosuke thinks at earliest IF they do announce R it will not be months after Kakutou Shinseiki is complete. I'm sure once that tournament is over Sega will most likely release an updated version for R with frame changes and then at that point a home version seems more feasible since we can assume R will be a final product at that point. If we are getting it, I put it at about 9-12 months. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Hopefully by then we will all still care to play.

hey guys. thanks for coming to Rodney's room. I didn't expect that many of players would get together, you know?

first of all, I was soooo glad to meet a legendary player in New York City.... who even can guess that legendary people don't have to work... that's amazing!! well, in any case, denkai showed Rodney's place for 2 days, and that was awesome. you guys got so much better, and I had a hard time playing with you guys!!!

ShinobiFist is the one who came much earlier than other players, right? I was glad to meet you since I like players who wnat to improve their skills.

to do this, you need to know not only the frames, but also each situation. just keep it up.

anyway, the trip between nyc and my place wasn't as far as I thought, so I would be able to visit nyc in the future. see you guys next time. I am looking forward to you guys improving VF.

I'm really not that close, but it would be worth the travel. I live in PA like an hour from philly, its like a 1 1/2 hour train ride up there.

this is not Konjo's fault, but my fault since I didn't tell him when I was exactly going to NYC. Next time, I will definitely post my plan here at least 2 weeks before my visit.
