Sadly, I too will have to cancel my appearance @ FT Farewell Tourney. I will be working this weekend. I hope everyone has a great time & enjoy your visit to NYC.

We have 2 FT setups up and running. One on dual astro cabs and the other on modified supergun and T5 sticks. We hope to have at least 2 PS2 setups tomorrow functioning.

Well, I gotta make it tentative. I spent some time at the hospital after work. I somehow aggravated my left knee and it hurts like the dickens, though thankfully nothing seems to be damaged. If I can drag myself out of bed tomorrow I will be there!

 

we had so much fun today,i'll never forget this day,i've just have to thank everyone who was there to make this a great gaming day and also like to thank the new people i never met which was very good turn out today,i liked thid event very much,good job.

 

I'm glad that I got off work early then expected & get play for a while.

I'm so looking forward to doing this again with VF5. There will be a launch party in SoCal. There should be VF5 at Evo2k7. I hope there's another NYC in November. We'll go to all of them.

"The Spot" worked out great. Heated for all the non-polar-bears of the group (which is pretty much everyone but me - I'd be warm playing VF even if it was only 50 F). Ever-present drinking water. Food delivered. Place to sleep. Place to shower. Chairs for everyone. Two blocks from a Starbucks in any direction. Great friends. Lots of VF.

I'm sorry that I couldn't make it on Sat night.
I had to work till 5 am on that day...
But it was so glad to see you guys (Jerky, Plague and Catherine ) again in NY,
specially because of this was the last big event for me in States.
I hope there will be some sort of gathering in Dec when Yosuke is coming to NY.
And thanks for NY crews that made this happen.

Good games, everyone! YAAFI couldn't get happier than handing his ass to everyone. Plus, seeing Denkai and Jerky sleeping on the same bed for a night (probably just a few hours since they played till Saturday morning) is priceless! Two Jacky players sleep on the same bed? Hmmm... What am I suggesting Denkai asked me... Good question Poor Monty, gotta sleep on the chairs Nice to meet Plague and Catherine. I was sweating when I play against Catherine!!! Her Pai is capable to run across the screen and throw me(Kazu get caught by that too), bravo! And thanks for everyone who joined this festival to make it happen.

Special thanks to Shag providing us a DARK cold room Cruz worked a lot on that supergunned FT setup. Hayato, Ben and his brothers helping out to get those cabinets in the right place!

Took some time to get to this since I got home from NY just in time to fly out to Vancouver for business (fuck, I'm tired) and the hotel internet has been very spotty.

I had a great, albeit short, time with you fellows. It was nice to meet everyone (Hi Talis and Catherine!). I was supposed to come by the next day (saturday) but we had a suprise visit from friends/business associates from the Pallisaides and it really A) took up my afternoon and evening and B) completely wiped me out.

If you look at the picture supplied by Plague you can see how much fun he's having playing with me. Truly, I am the "little tramp" of VF.

Everyone was very nice and didn't destroy me too bad so I appreciated that.

For myself I hit many, many attractions in New York with my wife, Janet and we had a blast. New York was very crazy and very fun. We'll be back in the spring, early summer. I'd love to book a gathering with New York peeps when I finalize my plans...VF or just dinner and conversation.

I'm glad everyone had much fun,that was a great event,props to shag and adam with the renting of the place,and everyone was very cool! i liked this alot! now we have to do now is wait for VF5 to hit ps3 then have like 4 setups,lol /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

 

There was no tournament.

I only had about 2 hrs. of sleep but i enjoyed every moment of it. Good games with all. See ya'll in VF5.
