I guess I'll take the time to clear things up =P. Simply put, we florida guys have no rules, you name it we do it, multiple lp's, throws, ring-outs, time-outs, and any other way you can think to win. We practice with no rules and "A LOT". I think its in how much time we actually put into the game. Frame knowledge, 40 match sessions, vf philosophy talking, and constantly watching new vids and studying them. If we're not working usually you'll find us playing VF or on here studying frame stats. In the end its all about how much time you put into it. No one in this community has the ability to sit down for an hour or two a week and dominate someone who is putting in atleast a total of 6-8 hours of play, study, and talk a week. Not to mention our hour drives between each others house are filled with constant contemplation of situations and move selection. Atleast thats what I do, and I think it's pretty close to what my other VF bro's do as well, later doods. =)

PS- if someone is winning with a certain move or technique you can bet that our team relies on the other person taking innitiative and finding out a way to stop it! We constantly are improving and with these gatherings it makes it so we can actually see how much we improve. Hopefully everyone that was at NYG and wishing they were there have a group of guys they can play with, with the same rules of engagement. later guys /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

I like this post, I really, really do. So fresh from the old complaining of yester year, makes me tear up just thinking about it. Now I've gotta get these Sc2 peeps to be more street.

You guys are so lucky in FL with a such committed group. I wish I had players like this around me within the 200 mile radius. /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

Amen. From NY crew, Andy, Me and Hiro feel the same way. Although Hiro is more "honorable" on more of a regular basis! /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

Hiro, do you teach at UMass Amherst? I was gonna do the honors program there but I decided not to. Now I wish I did cause then I'd have more opportunities to play VF4 with the NY people hehe. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif
