Obama's arm may have been twisted in the debate over the tax cuts, but I think what I'm getting at and what I understand of Happy_Friend's angle is that we're both exasperated at the amount of cronyism at play in Washington.

I'm still recoiling in horror at the very fact the battle over the tax cuts became a game of political brinkmanship when it came to social programs. Also, the Paul Ryan budget may be worth mentioning here as well as another way Obama is getting taken for a ride. I acknowledge that it isn't "realistic" for Obama to meet all my expectations, but I feel like it's still fair to complain about him because I have my own perspective on how things ought to be run here in the US of A.
