Kiwie: it's fun to read. It feels as I am watching a poker broadcast and hear the commentators talk about my play.

GLC: Ouch for that hand. Nothing you could do probably.

BTW,I am retired from playing poker when the U.S. gov decided to ban us from playing online. It was fun when it lasted, and I moved on.

Good luck, and I hope future flops will miss you guys more often(just so that you can improve your play). =)

Yeah, can't really get out from a full house. However, the hand does not tell the whole story. Before I was bullying the guy and did a couple of all-in bluffs - so I wanted him to draw cheaply and call my all-in with a straight or a flush. Just not a straight flush. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif It's not my worst bad beat ever though. Once I was playing in a $530 buy-in tournament, and my flopped quad eights lost (making my stack like 4xBB) on the river to a straight flush - guy had 74 offsuit, and 4 cards to the straight flush came on board. He raised to 6xBB under the gun with 8 people remaining. "Lol donkaments", eh.

It's not really a ban, they've just made the things harder. But I guess there's no point bothering if poker's not your source of income or if you're not a compulsive gambler (in which case you're better off with blackjack or sports betting anyway!)

It seems that many people have quit online poker, not making enough and/or getting bored. On PokerStars, where I mainly play, I usually do four $200 NL tables, and I see the same people at all of them (maybe it's the limit thing?) - on Full Tilt there's more variety, but it's harder to make money. At least there I can watch some $40K PL Omaha and $300/600 NLHE action. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
