something is strange in that Wolf/Aoi clip though: Aoi ate 2 full damage GS's and didn't die. WTF?

Given that you have 200 pts of life, after 2 GS's, doing 100 pts each, you're left with 0 pts. You're not actually KO'd until you drop below 0 pts.

That's how I've always understood it anyway.

Regarding the ote5 stream, sorry, but something screwed up whilst I left the upload going overnight and it restarted (instead of resuming, grrr). If all goes well, then it should be done in around 4 hours from now.

p.s. my upload xfer rate isn't the best either.

Yeah, that is correct. You can eat two full GS and you will still be alive, although you have no health left.

OK, I thought she broke her fall. Does the GS also turn into a 0 frame throw if the situation allows it?

Aoi did break the fall, but not perfectly. Against some throws, and the GS is one of them, if you do a just-recover, then you can reduce the damage. In the case of the GS, a just-recover reduces it to 80 pts total damage.

    Yes, all normal throws do.

Hey Myke, cheers for the post. Thats the thing though- Aoi did do a just-recover on both throws and it still did 100 point damage on her. Thats what I thought was wierd. Any thoughts?

Also-anyone else having problems playing the OH5 stream? Mine freezes after the intro.

My host may be able to hold that big file but please don't stream it from the site. Just right click > save as. My host wasn't meant to stream videos. so for the others too...

No, she didn't do a just-recover. You can tell this because a "thump" sound is heard when she hits the ground. To clarify what I mean by just-recover, it's when you perform instant recovery with a specific timing -- the very moment you hit the ground. If not timed right, you'll still perform the instant recovery, but you won't negate the damage associated with the ground impact.

The upload is ok but I think the stream dropped out during recording so there is a couple of minutes of black after the intro. After that it works great though.

seems like codec issues with the stream. I guess y'all will just have to use vlc player for now or something. I would've zipped the file but I wasn't the uploader, myke was.

I still ain't even watched it yet, lol. I'll do that when I'm bored during the week but now I got me xbox 360 I might not watch it for a while, lol.
