PA Gathering in early February

um... i have no headcount. i have no idea if anyone else will be riding with me. VA_king? shadowdean? anyone else? my 1 local friend who might have come cant make it, he's working...

unfortunately i'm not even sure if i can make it for the whole weekend.. i'd like to get up there friday for the whole thing, but it looks like i'll have a bunch of stuff to do this weekend.. might have to come up saturday. donno. i'll let you know on friday i guess.

Thanks to everyone who made it here this past weekend (and to III Demon for trying /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif). I don't recall having had this much fun playing VF in a long, long time.

Hammerhead, nice hanging with you again dude. You have a very wicked play style; and you are quite adept at keeping people off balance. We had some really tough, hard fought matches.

VirtuaPAI, thanks again for not bringing DOA3 /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Although that extra set up I had for you out in my back yard went to waste, LOL. Seriously though, although I didn't really get to play you too much this past weekend; the few times we did play and from what I saw, you seemed to have improved a bit. Especially with evading, and catching people off guard with the occasional low throw. One thing I did notice that hasn't changed is your throw game. It is virtually (no pun intended) non-existent. You need to incorperate this into your play dude. So, I better see lots of throwing next time you are here /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Smurfy, Zoe says thanks for the new "toy" you left her. Now if I can just get her to stop trying to get me to play fetch with it /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif! Awesome matches dude, props to anyone who can play a good Akira on a pad!

Speaking of pad playing Akira, props to Vith_Dos as well. Nice stuff considering you're relatively new to the game. I was def. impressed, and expect to see a "killer" Wolf next time we meet /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Well, I'd like to write more but I have to go to work real soon and my computer sux ass right now anyway /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif. Just wanted you guys to know that Frank and I had a blast hanging with and exchanging ass kickings with all of you!

This was an awesome gathering I learned so much and I finnaly got to finish my tctics advice. I don't know why but for some reason i was entering commands much easier in PA (it must be throwmasters carpet)

Throwmaster: Awesome throw game... LOL. Seriously, that was one cool wolf and jeff you showed. I actually learned how to succesfully throw escape due to your ground throws.

Kungfusmurf : Awesome matches, thanks for putting up with my constant saving hehe. You showed me that the knee can be done succesfully and often on the pad.

VirtuaPai : Good pai! Need to work on throw game and mixing it up but still working it DOA style /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif My friend wants to play you in DOA whenever you get a chance.

I don't think I play against you that much, buc I can see your skill improved over time. just keep praticking more of training. I prabably see you using max combo with akira soon.

I really want to "teach" you how the throwing game works, but you should at least get through all of the training trials first. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif Be aggressive and mixing things up is the key. We'll have more fun next time soon.
