Playing dirty? Playing... clean??

T-fam reminds me of bane in the sense how he masterminds these threads to get a rise and just sits back and watches the tangents derail.

 

Oh boy... Tim, I hope to meet you someday but please tell me that you're not planning on thwarting the evil Tony and his VFDC henchmen at whatever VF gathering we may coincide at... what color is your hair right now?

Regarding Spam: Now there's another whiner phrase that makes me do this face:


I could see these people playing chess against a player who relies on one of his pieces more than others and saying something like:
"Hey, stop SPAMMING your horsey piece!"
...
I understand when noobs and scrubs use this phrase but once you understand the game better and you've been playing it for a while then you should know better than to use phrases like "playing dirty" and "spam".

 

Spamming actually has a definition. It's using the same move over and over again typically in a row but not always. Sagat spams projectiles is a common one seen even at high level play.

Noob spam is just doing it over and over cuz you can't hitcheck for shit, but at higher level the spam is done because you've figured your opponent out in some way and know it's not as unsafe as it would be otherwise.
