Good games, yo. Your Wolf gets tougher to deal with each time we have a session. It's been a long time since I've seen you bust out some Kage, though. I'd like to see how we match up these days.

 

sure man, I went quite a while neglecting kage so he's more or less the same when I get the rust off, but we'll do some mirrors soon for sure. I just like wolf in that matchup as I am trying to work on my punishing game with him.

that's me, I play pandaaamonium when I basically wanna play player matches, since nobody is EVER in player matches, I'll just play with a account I don't care about.....I am usually too lazy and as a result my alt account has a wayy better win/lose ratio than my main account lol but I still like to fuck around somewhat anonymously.

EDIT: oh yeah! shit forgot general ripper in my last ggs, good ninja battles dood, I think we play kage in polar opposite ways. I'm always trying to make openings with counter hits and shit to start my offense, you tend to go for the high risk high reward stuff. Hopefully we can both influence eachother and end up somewhere in the middle for optimal ninja skillz.

heh, often my sentiments when facing off with kage. I can never tell where that dude is going or what he's gonna do. Those were some fun matches, lots of close proximity punch outs. ggs bro. I'll hit you up for some player matches if I see ya online.

same here, but it's because i can't do the knee or Guard Break of Doom with any reliable consistency.

Yeah, Akira is a real exception to the VF system. Once you get the GBoD down, it's scary to guard against Akira . My Jean is still relatively basic but I'm improving bit by bit but still need to understand what works against high, mid, low etc. attacks. I only really know combos for Jean but need to know how to poke as well.

 

hell, jean's 66p is basically mini super dash elbow. it pushes way the hell out on block, so you don't really have to worry about being at -8 for it. if it major counters you can set up some nasty sideturn situations
