ggs to Modelah. Your Taka is really scary. Watch out for my CHs though, I noticed you tend to respond after those, you were at great disadvantage and that's why I was able to get my launchers in. Shame about the lag though :(

ggs to InfamousGeezer. The first player I played against that landed GBoD online all those months ago. Really solid Akira, and Pai too. Thanks for being patient with my Lau :)

ggs to HotRod666. Solid fighter. Watch out for your Wolf's big moves, bad disadvantage if blocked. We had a nice long room session.

ggs to P__Rep, great strategic play with Vanessa. I think you should pick up her heavy and medium bound combos. If you throw those in, you'll have a really a strong Vanessa.

ggs to MakiLeSushi. Been a long time since I last played you. You were already really strong before and now you're just insane! Thanks for being patient with my scrubby Lau :).

ggs to Libertine. Had a nice long room session against your Sarah. Would like to try my Lau against your Brad next time so that I can more clearly see my faults with Lau.

And most recently, ggs to Denkai. Thank you for using your main (Jacky) against my Akira. You give me hope in that I could go pro in VF5FS. I really learnt a lot from our matches tonight.

On a personal note, I realised that my play is very much linear :(. I need to throw in some half circulars in my offense because I know if my move is evaded, I could eat a launcher or side crumple. Also, I'm starting to appreciate Lau now. He has some great mixup and it's nice to have some good lows compared to Akira. It's hard to resist not using a character that has a tiger head and claws too :D

Me and kyle got a bad connexion unfortunately... His van is good

To be honest i was waiting for ur Akira... I m not insane, i make a lot of mistakes, u didn t play a lot with me so maybe u didn t notice it. Ur lau will become a strong char but watch out with ur launcher u use it too much and it s punishible...
Next time with akira please =)

GGs to jinks the co was so bad even in the first match, so all my frame traps didn t connect =( i m feelin bad coz u got a good Lion and there is not a lot of good lion (you and darksoul)

GGs to Pana (Boogeyman? u become to look like =P)

I haven't seen how you play him but you can experiment a lot with delayed inputs and leaving his strings incomplete, going into either kokei or neutral rather than whiffing.

Breaking at P4P gives BT options and 7K to retreat with. BT P is a bitchy 10 frame high, perfect for baiting a failed punish attempt. BT P+K is a major threat as it will crumple on side hit.

From normal stance the simple PK string gives you a 12 frame startup, into half circular, and if you're not hit by 2P during your double high then going into kokei takes disadvantage down 3 frames to -6. A lot of kokei's threat is mid, so most will evade or stand block if you K+G giving you the same BT options as above.

If you keep your linear pokes safe and you get your opponent into an evade habit 6K+G is FC high for (I think) 36 damage and will soon keep them in line with you, 4K+G lets you gamble on either 6PP P+K+G P+K, or 4P+K P P+K+G P+K, P4P P+K or 66P+K P+K for crumple - meaning that after punishing a failed evade you put your opponent in a disorienting situation where the best thing they can do is evade.

Lau's throws are pretty puny to punish failed evades, but any time you practice 214P+G mixups is time well spent. Most won't guess to tech the 4 throw against Lau first time in a match.

Just my opinion, but Lau only has two reliable lows - 1K (NOT 1KK, which should only be used on CH), and if you can get the jump in his delayed midair K is FC low which is reliable but not useful. As a first move in a round 1P is useful for ducking highs, but good players evade 1P like it's nothing during a round, and it's EX low so trivial to block. 2K+G gives a good Wolf, Jeffrey, whoever a free low throw on block, is easily evadable by good players, and doesn't guarantee the 9K+G ground scrape. Lau's lows are a dead end for truly daunting offence, and should be treated as such. Just my $0.02.

Huge difference between someone saying he's the best at something and actually BEING the best at something.

He sucks and dc'd on me after I was draining all of his rank bar on an alt account (while I was learning stick at that). It's all good for people that enjoy fighting him, but he isn't a good Vane player /end.

If he has one of the best Vane's and will play you and answer your messages, ask him why he runs from me. Our connection read full bars from what I can remember. At least three, anyway. The one time we did play I beat him 3-0. Second time the score was 3-2 in his favor, but he didn't play me a third time. I guess he thinks he's better because he won last or something. I also received messages from RiskAdjReturn and a player name Yannie-something, and they said that he avoids them too.

LOLOL. He did the same shit to me. It happened a few months ago, he was about to rank up to avenger so I let him win his promotion match by trolling him with wolf. After that I switched to Kage and destroyed him 2 matches in a row. After that he refuses to play me on ranked and he also asked one of friends on PSN on how to beat me and how good was I LOLOLOLOLOL!
