I am usually more offensive with Goh, but my defense is directly proportional to the amount of lag there is. The more the lag, the more defense. The exact opposite happens with my offense, inversely proportional.

GGs to Jun chikara and JDS Cigano for the late room matches, surprising we had roughly 4 drops but the connection was smooth and playable late at night. The guard breaks were getting me until i start ed taking some notes watching how cigano plays against jun's akira. Thats when i saw something .......a small window to counter............ dont guard or 2p lol

Heh, yeah. Guarding against a Akira is very unsafe generally. Strong Lei there, look forward to playing you more in future. It's important to take note as well that all of Akira's GBs can be evaded and the first part of the GBoD is 17f so it's relatively slow compared to most GBs. It's up to me then to mix up my offense with half circulars and throws in that situation. It comes down to damage limitation then. With half circulars, I can only get between 22-25 pts of damage, although that is also dependant on how you react after them. On the double arm half circular, if you choose not to tech, I can lead it up to 2K+G, P, 2P, Double Palm. If you choose to guard after 46PKG, I can 2PKG GB, 3K+G, P+K, 2K+G, P, 2P, Double Palm so both half circulars can add a bit of damage depending on how you react after them.
