Haven't written one of these in a while but

GGs to piccolo's room for general good shit, Modelah awesome matches (Raw RD is free You should know better), Maki and Kingo for early wins to subsequent stomping of confidence gained from those wins (especially Kingo with that elbow round Damn I felt stupid)

Know I missed some guys in ranked one guy in particular who name escapes me but GGs everyone

 

Yeah, unfortunately I keep freaking out and freezing up in the face of RD. Still practicing in dojo to get around that problem. GGs anyway, let's do that room/player match sometime.

 

GGs to the kind people that I have played in the past week or two. Notable mentions include Modelah, RafaelLew, G-BLOW, Maki, General ripper, Seikuken, Afrokingalmighty (Also_known_az), Hatchetharry, cookie-king, and freaking Banok! lol

Also very good games to both Brodi and Black General for the amazing player matches, these are always so much fun.

GGs to LezardoLeopardo. Definitely the best Kage I've met online, though I haven't played against many others. It was fun having the Akira and Kage mirror matches . Was hilarious how we kept taking turns to do the DPoD LOL! . I need to practice it more in the dojo because it looks SOO COOL! . I need to work on my Kage more too, understand his options from BT.

Thanks man . My execution with Akira is good but I just lack actual player skill . I rely on some moves to keep me safe like Knee and GBoD but I have some bad patterns . I'm a 2P whore after most elbows . I usually buffer the 2P for combo opportunities after SDE. I throw it out there because of 2 cases, combo opportunities and if my SDE is blocked, to interrupt any high attacks that may come back at me.

In regards to my Kage, I need to know how to use Jumonji and Shippujin more effectively, as well as understanding Kage's BT options as well. I'm going to go through the combo page tonight to understand his options better. The only real problem I have with Kage are his launchers , he doesn't really have any and no standing palm like Akira or Lau . I think I've got the DPoD timing down now. I usually just struggle to time the last hit for some reason but I found that if you keep the same timing between P K K exactly the same, it will always connect but just need to hammer it down in my muscle memory better. Once you have the timing, it's actually a great move to do from DM CH (as in you evade an opponent's attack successfully and punish with it) you can get 70+ damage which isn't bad .

 

Unless you evaded a move that recovers crouching then use 1P+K instead. From the side you can get 1P+K -> 1P+K -> 6_PK and it's not death to you if they can guard. Use DPoD for punishing sweeps/whiffed highs and after 6P+G. Can also use it for reverse nitaku but I prefer 3P.
