Hanwiz - Fun matches that we played. It seemed like I had everything under control until you begin using 1KK a lot more. From there, the matches changed drastically, and I had to watch my steps a little more closely. Hopefully, I will be better prepared the next time we play!

mfwebdude - I wasn't sure if you were using the stick or not but, if so, it looks like you're definitely getting the hang of it! Playing you is going to do me wonders when fighting other Akira's in the future, so it is always a pleasure to find you online at night.

Sushi - What can I say? You always ruin me when we play lol. That's why I love playing you though, as you force me to rely less on bad habits and even adapt differently to certain situations than what I'm normally used to. Also, out of all of the people that I've played in Europe, your connection is probably the best so far! Though, sometimes lag will cut our games short, and for that I am sorry.

i was watching your inputs in a reply, those stepping skills are sick. i cant fathom how you are able to do that without some kind of bionic upgrade.

Just played tomiyoshi-san, avenger, only 427 games, uses sarah. Best player ive ever met online. He won 6 matches out of 8.

He is doing crazy stuff like fuzzy after i evade him, so my throw miss, never seen anyone do that online...

Weird thing is that i had good connection, and i live in sweden. A japanese on visit?

yeah ive played against the guy. He seems fundamentally sound. However, if you delay your attacks or throws, the guy starts having issues. I know after beating him twice, he didnt want to play me anymore. Which made me sad...

 

Yeah he quit on me as well, when i won. Anywas, i was impressed by his technical skills.

Another guy that is good, is stodamashi/pana. He is not as technical(not fuzzying, evade cancels), but he has a good grasp of the whole roster and can play any character quite well and i sure lose quite a lot against him. I think he has winning percentage of 90% against me, which no other player has on me online despite his lack in fuzzing and evade cancelc and general defence(ive seen better players defending strings). I think his strong point is in yomi and reading your rythm and using antistrategies against you.

I only knowa 3-4 out of my head that has a good winning percentage against me. I think its sad for them to be so alone in the top..

Im sure he can, considering his general skill level. He may just not deem it necessary because of lack of competition, or has just not implemented it to an extent that it comes naturally and still has to focus while doing and was maybe just lazy..

But watching some japanese players during tournaments, knowing evade cancels and implementing them perfectly during a match, and different ones like 33, or 6+G,p, release p+6 and doing them with perfect timing and doing it crazy fast.

Another im thing that im impressed about while watching japenese players, is that when they evade, they know when to do low attacks, to avoid high in strings. etc., or when to evade, evade.

Mastering this game take fucking ages....

I got to play libertine and generalripper. I think I learned something. Was nice playing ripper, I don't get to see many Kage players. I did get my arse handed to me though.

He is the most technical guy i met online. 99% people online dont:


evade cancel throw escape
fuzzy,
ducking high strings
good movement.
Attack bluff.
Not adapting fast enough, and do the same mistakes.
advanced attack patterns
Bad reactions, like continue attacking after low p is blocked etc.
Its one thing to do these thing in dojo, another thing to implement them perfectly during a live match.

I think people should share more tips and inside knowledge about this game, to improve the general skill level, because we are so behind japanese players..
