PSN Good Games

Don't worry about it. I just popped in for a minute while waiting for finns to get on. I just felt the need to ask where you are since I joined a swedish room and I've never had such latency as with you.
When you did P > throw it was practically guraranteed since I had been thrown already when I saw the P on my screen . What kind of connection do you and P_Rep have with each other though?

 

Me and modelah have a classic 0 bar, it seems stable most of the times - but can be shaky here and there sometimes., i guess it is only to be expect connecting from mid-northern sweden (me) to japan (him).

 

Like ToyDingo said, most people online are too stupid to know they should stop swinging at some point, and the lag (even on good connections) means getting the fastest timing reactions is rough. it's why people mash, because anything based on reaction is weakened online

I had to stop playing Jun_ and Modelah (both in Japan IIRC and I the U.S.) because of the poor connections between us. It's consistent (no lag spikes or such), but there's a weird delay. It bugs the living hell out of me.

 

Yeah, 0 bars but oddly quite smooth most of the time in spite of the distance. When you and I played, I didn't notice any lag at all but I just felt something was wrong, I was getting away with far too much especially after watching you vs. Rep. Gah, I felt like He-Man only to learn it was lag that was winning matches for me . Nice to meet you anyways.

Hey guys with whom I played in a room, you guys are talking about me hitting you before you can hit me. Can you tell me the situations at which this is true? So far the complaints I've heard are about things that really work the way they should. I don't consider myself abare, so please help me. I might be able to explain things or confirm that the issues are due to lag.

I think sometimes people do not recognize a move is a counter, faster then the slow launcher they tried using, or just connects before theirs due to angle or whatnot.
When those people gets frustrated, and then cry lag and mayhem upon what you experienced to be a nice fight - it can get to you a bit.

i wish people did that to me. a lot of the times they just stand there or worst, they disconnect on me.

 

Does anyone know why I can never see the people I fight in my "players met" list? Players in VF never show up there. It's really annoying. But other people are able to message me so there must be a way around this. Does anyone know what the deal is?
