GGs too but you must be confusing me for Modelah. I rarely do quarter circle throws (because I use a pad and my pad is almost dead) and I only use simple combos

 

GGs Sushi. High damage combos everywhere. Just learn to cancel your evades!

You can do it. You just have to say, "I'm going to get really good at this" and just focus on it until you can do it. The same thing goes for crouching highs in strings, confirming foot position, evading in the correct directions, etc. Aren't you on a stick now? I think you'll find that doing it on one side is harder than another. You might try cancelling an evade with 66 instead of 33 on one side for awhile. As you get better, work on using 33. If you're just starting with the stick, experiment with grips on the lever that work best for you before you get used to a grip that doesn't work well for stuff on both sides.

 

When i m focused on it, i succeed but i do it for nothing coz the opponent just stay standing and watch me lol... Yesterday i played with chefboy, he made me understand that without it, i won t never beat my "final boss" =P so now i m workin on it, and it s sad to say it but it s finish my 8->66k+g side crumple =(

 

Had a fun set with Exzety last night. First chance we've had to play in a good while, and you're still my favorite Kage to mirror. Our matches are always super fast and intense, with a little ninja wankery thrown in to see who can be the most stylish.

 

I understand what you're saying, but with that logic you would also never fuzzy guard because the opponent may just stand there and not attack. I get that all the time, but I practice my defense anyway because it's the right thing to do. Knowing what to do after you defend but your opponent remains guarding is layer 2. Some options are , a throw, or lazy throw escape. I used to have a lot of problems with opponents who just stood there after I defended because in my mind I knew what to do in order to defend, but not so much what what to do afterwards. It's just another part of learning this game.

Not really. Once you start cancelling your evades instead of just buffering an attack into an empty evade you'll need to start confirming what you've evaded instead. This will take a long time, and I'm not good at it at the moment. Once you get good at it, though, you'll be able to respond with the best attack.

Domaug, sorry about that. We only had 1 good round and then my pad keeps on freezing. T'was a shame, we had not played each other for a long while!!
