I just picked up my psp, and damn this thing is more than I thought. I dont have any dead pixels, no loud motor, no loose buttons, I guess I was lucky and got a perfect one. If you have the money, get one. You wont be disapointed. I actually think that the psp is underpriced for what it can do.

do you have darkstalkers? how does it play? it's like the only game i'd get on the list right now...

No, I didnt get darkstalkers because I already have Vampire Chronicles for DC. I didnt get it because I was worried about the loading times, plus im not all that good with fighting games with a pad.

Man, this screen is great, but the only thing is that the system gets really dirty quick because of the black super buffed plastic, and I just noticed that I already have a little scratch. Not from dropping or scratching it myself, but from putting it in the soft case that came with it LOL stupid tight enough case!

I recently just picked up Ridge Racers, and I cant believe this game. Its like crack to me, the graphics are amazing. They are just as good as PS2, the drifting reminds me of Initial D, but to a less more techinical but its still very fun. Seriously, if you have the psp, this is one title that you should pick up.

Did anyone see the latest episode of South park?
They praise the psp to sick ends. Apparently, the psp was made by god to look for the chosen one on earth who can destroy the enemies from hell. Heaven made the psp so they can look for their 'keanu reeves.' haha this episode was a riot. i just cant believe how much they praised the psp so much.

Aoimaster, just saw that film you were ranting on about, 'the hunted.'
man that film was really good. It was like a proper modern day first blood rambo. Yea the end fight kicked ass too much. Still, its kinda hard to believe that benicio del toro can outrun the entire fbi and tommy lee jones when del toro smokes and does everything bad health activity under the sun.

Can you tell me what was actually going on in that little movie, because I don't understand japanese. All I could do was enjoy the music lol.

Thanks for checking that movie out. Yeah, its alittle over the top that he evades the FBI as well as Tommy lee, but the end knife fight is great. Gotta love the blood.

yea i have been cracking out myself since March 24th and I don't really like racers to much, other than outrun 1 & 2, Daytona. The game is just amazing. Me and my nephew are always linking up when ever I stop by on weekends to check him out.

I'm going to pass on PSP for two reasons:

    1) It has no hard drive. Not strictly as issue when playing games, but lack of mass storage makes it useless as a movie player. Who's going to bother re-ripping material on a memory stick constantly? Not me.

    2) Battery life. Yes, it's been mentioned countless times but my definition of a portable device is something that can run for at least 8 hours away from a mains socket. 4 hours won't even last you a typical transatlantic flight - exactly the time you'd most want to use a PSP.

I wish someone would release a portable gaming system along the same lines as the iPod. Mass storage so you can have all your titles with you all the time and the ability to download games from an online store.

maximum, have you actually seen the psp in real life?

i was like you but when i saw it i nearly flipped. its the only handheld thats gonna come near what you want for at least another 5 years or until nintendo decide to release a 'proper' contender to this sweet, sweet portable.
