Putting together a basic VF guide.

It might seem that way to us but some of that information could help a new player pick their character.

Fighting style for one is an easy way to get a quick idea what the characters about, and maybe if you're looking where to start and you're Canadian and into karaoke, then you might see that bio and go "w00t, that's the guy for me!"

If I was Seidon, i'd trim off the more pointless stuff like blood type, height etc. Just so it's easier and quicker for new players to get through.

 

I don't have much input, just wanted to say as a newcomer to the series (having only really played VF, VF2 ages ago and played them very poorly at that) it's much appreciated that you're doing this, so thanks. I think I've just about settled on El Blaze after trying out all the characters, but I'm really only choosing my character on a very basic level, and not how they'll play once I actually learn the game.

Also wanted to mention I think your first layout was good, or you could even combine the two. Pros/cons, which I think were fine, maybe since some of the points are arguable, you could avoid using the words great, very, excellent, and just good or bad And then combine the little blurb about how they might play, and some key moves. You can avoid the bio stuff. Just a suggestion though.

 

Everywhere has done my work for me. I wrote a whole bunch of stuff on the characters and the game system but everything I need is right there. Doesn't make sense for me to reword it all.

In the end up I'm going to have a glossary of links for folks.

One or two things could be prettied up mind you.
