Gran Turismo is the greatest racing game franchise ever.

 

I've always been more of a casual racing game fan than anything else. The only racing game I ever really got into was Mario Kart 64, I simply couldn't get enough of that game. My friends and I had tons of fun with its multiplayer.

Other than Mario Kart 64, the only other racing game I've purchased was Sega GT 2002. It wasn't bad, but after I completed Career mode, I never felt like playing it again. Collecting all of the cars just never felt like it was worth it in my opinon.

Some racing games my friends owned that I enjoyed were:
Gran Turismo 4
Need For Speed Underground
Rallisport Challenge
SSX Tricky

I've got a new favorite racing game. ToCA Pro Race Driver 2 for XBox. This game is so damn good, and only costs $30. On XBox Live this thing is bringing back the feel of the golden days of MotoGP 1. I'm loving it.
