This isn't so much of a link, but a funny pic of Futurama crossing over with Final Fantasy VII.

Just to confirm, it is not serious. In another video he discusses this, as well as other things regarding Diablo 3 with a normal voice and without ranting.
This guy CAN actually speak in a clear, understandable way and is not angry at Blizzard for anything. ^^

    Re: Random Links 2011

I got this link from a Google+ user. I clicked on it not knowing what to expect at all and was very surprised to see what Danny Macaskill was capable of. I had no idea who he was and what the content of the video would be.

anyway, I found this to be an excellent use of 5 minutes. The composition and direction, music and unreal focus of talent makes for an amazing watch. love it.

Absolutely amazing! Really it blows my mind to see people ride bikes like this and on top of that mountain bikes which are just so huge. Anyone know how much these bikes weigh because the stuff stunt riders like Danny pull off just don't seem possible on normal weighted mountain bikes.

hehehe and here I am thinking that I was the shit for being able to pop a wheelie lol

The discipline is called 'trials'. I think they weigh somewhere in the region of 20-30lbs. I know a good XC bike will be around mid 30s and a downhill bike will be 40+.

I used to be into bikes and had mates that did this. I reckon the most uber impressive stuff is when he does vert tricks using trees as ramps.

FYI flatlands is also a really impressive discipline but you more commonly see that done on BMX.

what blows my mind even more is how he has completely control over his own weight plus the weight of the bike and prevents the tires from not blowing out. He makes some pretty insane drops off of things and his tires never pop. I remember when I was a kid and I was trying to learn to do tricks and I tried to jump off a sidewalk once and I must have only went about 1-2 feet in the air... landed and my back tire just burst from the landing impact.

Is he using solid tires or something or are their inner tubes in there? Really people who can ride bikes like this aren't human. This is some amazing shit.
