a photo a day for 6,000 days

What started as a personal project, quickly became an obsession for New York photographer Jamie Livingston (above), who managed to take a Polaroid picture every day for 18 years.

His first photo was of his then girlfriend Mindy Goldstein and a friend on March 31, 1979.


His last, 6,000 shots later, on October 25, 1997 - his birthday was of Livingston on his deathbed, dying from cancer.




Pretty amazing. so few people are creative let alone have a will to maintain creativity.

This pretty much sums up facebook for me and one of the biggest reasons I split.

 

Some weird thing my brother in law sent me about this year of 2011 and thought i'd put it out before the year is over..

This year we're going to experience four unusual dates. 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, and 11/11/11. And that's not all..Take the last two digits of the year in which you were born. Now add the age you will be this year, and the result will be 111 for every one.. This year, October will have five Sundays, five Mondays, and five Saturdays. This happens only every 823 years!

Crazy right? lol. Tripped ME out..Even for young kids instead of 111 it'll be 11..Then it goes on saying bout these years are known as "Money bags" and this is the year of money...
