why I'm glad I'm off facebook

wow. frictionless sharing? this is what you FB people have to look forward to? If facebook is actually able to hold on to their numbers (I don't expect growth) I envision most people will cut back on their "friends" and focus on the people they actually give a shit about - you know, the 30 or so people we make real time for. same number of people, less fake connections.

so question time:

are you still on facebook?
do you like timelines and frictionless sharing?
do you care who you list as a 'friend' or is it just a voyeur-esque way of sneaking peeks?

 

Most of the people on my friends list are classmates that I graduated from college with. We put up stuff regarding what we did after graduation. It's how we catch up with each other. A few of my instructors are up there as well.

The rest are family and co-workers. I don't bother to put anyone else on if I don't feel I speak to them on a regular basis. However, I do have a few VFDC people on my list.

I haven't done the switch to the timeline version of Facebook. I like the way my page looks as it is.
