They used to show Howard the Duck 6 times a day on HBO. If you want to understand how the Phantom Menace could be so bad, look at this movie. George Lucas has made two of the worst movies of all time. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

 

If we're talking about mainstream music or movies aiming for a "broader" appeal (i.e. doe-eyed consumer-tards), then every decade ever sucked ass.

The only worthwhile shit is the stuff that is never played on the radio; things that grab onto the zeitgeist (and yet can remain timeless [i.e. The Dead Kennedys, or Taxi Driver]) and never let go.

Episodes 2 and 3 aren't any better.

Hell, the only worthwhile film is THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (he didn't direct it either, haha!), which is actually an awesome stand alone film. No "underdog" ending, none of that over-done shit, just pure "bad-guys" winning (it doesn't happen enough in movies; hence most are boring).
