Yea, that's his name, Monty Oum. Yea he's a friggin genius when it comes to that stuff, Dead Fantasy 3 is gonna be dope. That Haloid was pretty crazy too, he knows just what something needs to make it look extra cool and epic.

Yes, they seem to be heavily inspired by Devo - the lead singer/guitarist is a big fan of them and admits it freely in interviews (says that Polysics is "inspired by the spirit of Devo"). There are also lots of references in lyrics and videos (on the start of "Each Life Each End" the top brass speaking says "A toast! To the devolution of man", stuff).

I really like them, even though it's not really my kind of music...
