    That's kinda how I read it too. I'm guessing the big Sony exclusive is Uncharted 3 or something like that.

    Also, Marly pretty much summed up the DOA exclusivity thing. The first DOA came out on the Saturn in Japan, before it was released on the PS1, then DOA2 was on the Dreamcast before the PS2. It was only until the Xbox that it became exclusive as such.

    My hopes are VF, Fighting Vipers, Last Bronx, Eternal Champions, Virtual On (Kinda counts lol), or Guilty Gear.

    Well, I have heard that Rareware wants to come back to Nintendo to make 3DS games, I think I made a thread about it somewhere here on this site if I'm not mistaken.

    And I never played Killer Instinct, what's so good about it that it deserves a cult-like following. Be a little specific if possible.

    I've heard rumblings of a XIII console port from some folks who may have a clue on matter. I've heard nothing about VF.

    KOF XIII has already been announced, but than people are saying it's Soul Calibur and that's been announced as well. Gonna be an interesting June.

    First of all, Arc has no licensing issue regarding Guilty Gear, at all. Looky: http://www.siliconera.com/2011/05/24/arc-system-works-now-owns-the-rights-to-guilty-gear/

    ...and it's been this way for quite a while.

    It can't be DOA5, as Tecmo released DOA:Dimensions specifically to test the waters (which is stupid since you can't 'test the waters' that well with a handheld iteration).

    It can't be SCV since it was already announced and is known to be at E3 AND will have a special GTTV showing before E3.

    It can't be KoFXIII because it isn't exactly 'a return of a great franchise' because of XII; if something is making a return there needs to be a rather large waiting gap for a release from the franchise.

    It COULD be Killer Instinct
    It COULD be FS
    Or it could be another franchise, let us hope though...or shall we not, lest our hopes be trampled? =[

    king of fighters, from what I know, was never OFFICIALLY announced in western publications. Yeah, we hardcore players all known about it for like a year and a half now, but this could be a marketing ploy to introduce it formally to casual population of the west.

    of course, I SINCERELY HOPE it's final showdown, but logic, shattered hopes, and sega's 20 year history of stupidity, ignorance, and allergic reactions to money all scream to me that it's probably this.

    that said.......PLEASE BE A FINAL SHOWDOWN ANNOUNCEMENT ^_____^
