Shang, look around you. You see that rectangular thing on the wall? Walk towards it and try forcing the lock (it's been closed for several years now..might take a while to open..). You might as well wear some sunglasses 'cause the light might blind you as you're so used to the dark.
After you get used to the light, take off the sunglasses and notice that new world with full anti-aliasing, realistic sound effects, and realistic bump-mapping. And wait!! You can touch things!! The best thing about this game, it that it's free! You won't have to pay for it!! Cool huh?
I know interacting with people in that game might be hard as you're so used to flame people from the net, and not in such a realistic game, where you call someone a retard and you actually feel that person's fist breaking your teeth.
Now now..don't worry..You'll see that despite the fact that you won't be able to flame people anymore (unless you practise the FPoM, aka, Fleeing Power of Doom), you'll see that there's something pretty cool about it.

PS: Although I hate this kinda crap, as it makes me look pretty bad in the forums, I just couldn't help it. You act like a total ass, and I don't think you'll ever change that nerd/geek/weirdo/gay/asshole/whatever atitude.

Actually I play it at 60Hz with RGB scart thus getting the best of both worlds.

umm sorry but vf1 on saturn was not 60frames
as was not vf remix
im sure vf1 in arcades was only 30frames

anyways vf on ps2 out puts 60 fields per sec, and it takes 2 fields to make a frame, so thats 30frames per sec!!!
it reads the controler/stick at 60hz, witch means 60 times per sec, the game runs at 60hz, but you dont see 60 frames!!!
only in the arcades when vf is running on a medium resolution monitor do you see a true 60frames!!!

i do hope it comes out on ps2, an not xbox exclusive, or even on all 3 (sonic heros was crap on ps2)

There's no annoucement of any kind that indicates this is the case. Imo, it makes 0 business sense to release a new version of VF4 on new hardware. Think of the money involved to do that. As opposed to maintaining the existing hardware infrastructure to achieve the same thing. Why? It makes no sense. Arcade operators are going to buy the next generation hardware - likely for VF5 - anyway. Why make them purchase this in advance where your hardware now deppreciates earlier rather than later.

As much as this rumour has generated discussion - I find it *highly unlikely* that Sega would release FT on new hardware. It's just not a profitable option for them, especialy when it can be achieved for significantly less money on existing code, hardware, etc.

well llan sega have already said it would be actually cheaper to use the chihiro board. Which is why these rumours are coming up.

Actually, Llanfair is correct. While in Japan, Kyasao introduced me to Yohsuke Takeda - one of the main designers for VF4 FT. (I think he was one of the main programmers for Evo.) I asked him if FT was running on hardware other than Naomi2 and he confirmed that it is still on Naomi2. There will be minor cosmetic changes to the backgrounds - nothing too drastic.
