well, if there was any kind of tourney or exhibiton, whatever, I'd come.

Isn't there some Tekken based tourney coming up in SD where they're having VF? I definately want to play in that one.

All right! I didn't know Mission Valley had a broken VF EVO machine... I would meet there if it got fixed

It's ... fixed I guess... playable at least. Cheaper to fricking play at home though.

Well I do have a big screen TV and a PS2... and a couch and stuff... the place is a frickin mess though.

All I would need is VF Evo and 2 sticks?

Sorry, I haven't really had time to play lately... I've been really busy, just a shit load of school work. Plus the sticks I ordered aren't here yet... I'm still waiting on them.

As soon as I get my sticks and school calms down a little, I'm going to get back into playing. I'm playing with a pad too much and it's screwing my game up.

However, I'd like to ask you where you're from and what character you use. I'm really close to San Diego State University, in lemon grove, and I'm a vanessa user. I'm also a fourth year college student...

Blah, no stick, no evo /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I could manage with meh PS2 Controller but the L2 jams occasionally so time to practice with another controller...

Anyway... I live in the Chula Vista area and I play Jeffery.

    Arrrrr.

    Brian,

given that this is a Saturday tourney, I might have to work afterwards (like I did after the infinity cup), so I probably won't have time to take anyone anywhere. I think it'd probably be better to make plans with someone else.

Also if you San Diegans are interested there is a Soul Calibur II tournament going down this Saturday in Ocean Beach, not that far from anywhere in SD.

    Sup everyone!

Just wanted to ask a question.

Would you be interested in playing fighting games with a bunch of competition from 6 p.m. - midnight for the small fee of 6 bucks? On Friday nights?

    With games like:

    Tekken 4
    Soul Calibur II
    Tekken Tag Tournament
    Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution
    Capcom vs SNK 2
    Marvel vs Capcom 2
    Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
    Guilty Gear XX
    Super Smash Bros. Melee
    Super Street Fighter II Turbo

    and more!

GameLords, www.vgonetwork.com and SD TEKKEN will soon be running a promotion called SD FIGHT CLUB which features unlimited play for fighting games for a small fee! The games will be played on 4 65 inch HDTV ready televisions. We may launch this project as soon as this Friday!

So what do you guys think? This could be the perfect way for you and your friends to meet up and practice in a nice gaming area or meet new people to play with!

Please let me know if you are interested, if enough are I'll make it happen.
